The blues comes to life here with three outstanding musicians joining me on our original groover Flight Time.  The head sounds so great with all the harmonies from Georg's multiple bari sax lines - almost a big band sound -  Harry's tight layers and Manuel's beautiful bouncing bass.  Harry kicks into a little electricity and we all sit back to groove.  Follow these superb players.  Always a thrill to be with each of them and great to have the world sound....  Harry's from Philly, Georg from Cologne and Manuel from Sardinia.

Harry Jacobson joins Daniele Petrocchi and me on our original tribute to John Coltrane, Trane Wreck.  Coltrane and his quartet's sound with McCoy Tyler was so important in the 60s and together we explore some uptempo modal grooves and modes that drove Trane's seminal work with McCoy.  Harry's a teacher's teacher and brings the very finest sound to the Cloud.  Daniele's a monster electric bass player and musician and  lays down some beautiful bass lines and soloing too.  Sit back and smile:)

we lived in a very small town, where there wasn't much to do.
everybody's favourite place was the lake, people would go there to fish, have a picnic or just hangout with friends.
many years ago when my parents were small children, something bad happened.  only our grandparents generation know what occurred, but they kept the secret between them.
there are only a few people of that generation still alive, now one by one as they pass away they are all taking the secret to their graves.
the only thing they will say is......."don't go down to the lake, after the sun goes down"

He has an enormous catalogue of originals and jams with some of SoundCloud's finest. And he's always out to find new talent. As a result you could see Jamie as an independent and totally generous talent scout. Without ever wanting anything in return but you to play with him on his songs. I have always enjoyed his jams, featuring on quite a few myself, Jamie also kind of discovered me here on SoundCloud and really pushed my music to have it catch on. This year even leading to a record label approaching me to release my latest acoustic guitar album. Right at the start was Jamie... So thanks buddy! Keep on doing what you do. It really makes a difference!

This site is for my musical avatar or alter ego. Architect/partner/company owner by day, I find myself playing guitar and writing these tracks in afterhours, at nights, evenings, when in need of a dose of guitar sounds. You will find a wide range of guitar oriented music, ranging from Jazz to Blues, Flamenco to Classical, Rock to Fusion. And many collaborations with some great musicians.

I have been playing guitar since I was 11 years old, largely self-taught and have tried different styles and instruments: Renaissance lute, flamenco guitar, classical guitar, steel string guitar and electric guitar with which I have been playing in styles ranging from rock and metal in my early years to classical music, some American Folk music, jazz rock, prog rock, flamenco nuevo and fusion.

It’s been a splendid time here so far, in collaborating with a lot of brilliant musicians on SoundCloud and sharing ideas and the passion for music. 
My collaborations are with musicians that I have a deep respect for and have a mutual appreciation for real instruments, and musical styles that focus on letting the instruments “shine”.

Currently I am using Amplitube and Auria on an iPad as DAW with Final Touch for mastering. For acoustic recording I use an Apogee microphone.
