Following the Electronic Streets and Tons of Moondust Reissue EPs released in 2022, this year Addex brings back another one called Back To Square One, a reissue for 2023 as the release number 57 on our label. Originally released in 2014 on Moonrise Records, the EP had the initial remix and another one with remixes for the title track. For this new release, the pack contains the original tracks plus two new: 2023 Version and a Short Version.

The 2023 Version brings more organic/deep house flavor with the original elements of the track, the rhythm and arrangement are different, more modern approach. From the middle of the track, we have a fantastic and continuously melody-driven sound blending as it goes through with piano notes for the perfect atmosphere. The original mix has been mastered a bit, more rough version, close to house style but more compact. Sliding Ice track brings less atmosphere but an all-in rhythm as the closing track, Only In One Place delivers a pleasant chill feeling with melodic senses.

"The second volume in the "Lisztogrooves" series from Igor Gonya's label Lisztomania is packed with both heavy hitters and emerging talents. Across both sides of the vinyl, you'll find some exceptional tracks, starting with Manuel Sahagun's slick deep house groove "Get Yourself." There's also a taste of US house from Human By Nature, enriched with a rich atmosphere and 90's piano riffs. The A-side concludes with a high-energy, uptempo jackin' filter workout from Serbian mainstay and the MTV Europe Music Awards winner Gramophonedzie. The B-side offers a more stripped-back yet deep and solid groove. French producer Naux builds his arrangement around chord stabs, which serve as the foundation of the track. Stogov delivers a soul-drenched, late-night cruiser with "Walking Wide," while JR From Dallas and Justnique close out the EP with a perfectly seductive slice of deep house, complete with smooth chord work and warm, sneaky vibes. This is another hugely effective and stylish release."

PREMIERE: Manuel Sahagun - Get Yourself [Lisztomania]

The third and last single from Fred Everything’s 'Love, Care, Kindness & Hope' is a collaboration with the mighty Stereo MC’s. You might know them from their 1992 smash hit 'Connected,' but they’re also one of the UK’s most influential act in the Hip Hop and Trip Hop world, and still staying active today with their own Connected label, focussing on Afro House sounds.

On remix duty, we have the enigmatic Clive From Accounts. It’s been all hits and no misses from the mysterious man from London, who may or may not be an accountant. His releases on Dirt Crew, Razor’n Tape and Outplay have felt at home in many influential DJs record box, including Fred who’s been a big supporter since day 1. Clive takes the dubby original into Deep House territory with a lovely driving bass line, arpegio lines and a great use of Rob Birch’s voice. It comes with its obligatory Dub as well.
