SO creative! All the subtle editing of the delays is NOT easy. excellent work!

I would have never guessed that this track is so technological, it sounds like you worked it all out on paper, which I mean in a good way.

I love the fist few :07 seconds it sets the piece but also takes me to tea time dances in parlors with stuffed animals. 

Such a lovely combination, you're subtle use of effects add a wonderful character to an already beautiful melody, well done :-D

This is a solo piano performance by DD.

This track comes from an unreleased series I created a while ago titled Auto-Counterpoint where a single melody superimposed itself by the use of very long delays w/ infinite decay and Revox tape machines.

So I wrote a melody with some variations (melodic changes, permutations, octave shifts, rhythmic changes)  played the whole thing a couple of times feeding 4 or 5 delay or revox lines that recorded to additional tracks.
In the end I’ve got a 10 minute mess of 5 tracks with the same measures repeated over themselves, a pandemonium of repetitions and superimpositions.

Then I made edits, creative use of the delete button and got a reasonable track.

As with the other auto-counterpoint pieces, I performed this in 10 minutes, and edit took several days to finish....

In some words:
Composer, arranger, producer, multi-instrumentalist. Born in Argentina,
I studied music in Buenos Aires, New York, Boston, Los Angeles and Paris.

For 20 years, I developed an important career as a session and backing musician in Argentina and Europe, playing, among other instruments, the bass, touring and recording with many jazz, rock, fusion, world, Latin and tango bands.

At the same time, I worked as an arranger, producer and musical director with many projects and artists in the USA, Argentina and Europe.

From 1992 to 1997, I performed my compositions live with my own band in Buenos Aires and began a solo recording career with the worldwide release of my first album "The Years Alone" on the North American label Green Linnet/Xenophile. On this album I arranged and performed 11 of my songs written between 1986 and 1993. I played most of the instruments, but included guest appearances by some great South American players.

My recording career continued with "Segundo Ciclo" (1997), released worldwide by Timeless Records, and 12 more albums released between 2000 and 2016.

Currently, I work as an on-demand film/TV composer while continuing to play live and produce.
