Based on a piano performance by @leonclowes, I played an OB-E (thanks, Tom Oberheim & @gforce-software) over Leon’s piano. I was going for a streamlined version of something quiet by Ravel — a kind of synthetic tone poem. Both the piano and strings are fake, but hopefully there’s still room to build.

something is ringing here

Inspired by the view out of the side window in the living room, looking out onto our back garden.
Recorded in a single take using a preset from Slate & Ash's Cycles processed with Output's Portal, with a bit of slow random modulation of Portal's parameters using Live's LFO Random. I pitched/slowed down the result slightly too.

Even the most analytical mind can be moved to reinterpret grief afresh.

　From the moment my fingers touch the ivory, “for these red lips with all their mournful pride” unfolds like a twilight reverie of sorrow-laden lips. In a few short measures, Chair House’s improvisational spirit flutters in, as if “anguish bathed in crimson” springs forth from the keys. What resonates is not a fleeting lament but the sudden rekindling of that “unforgettable longing” buried deep within the heart. The low tones creep in like a whispered sigh, while the delicate high notes quiver as if invoking tears. Each note carries a poignancy so profound it feels as though the dusk-tinged sky itself bleeds into sound.

In some words:
Composer, arranger, producer, multi-instrumentalist. Born in Argentina,
I studied music in Buenos Aires, New York, Boston, Los Angeles and Paris.

For 20 years, I developed an important career as a session and backing musician in Argentina and Europe, playing, among other instruments, the bass, touring and recording with many jazz, rock, fusion, world, Latin and tango bands.

At the same time, I worked as an arranger, producer and musical director with many projects and artists in the USA, Argentina and Europe.

From 1992 to 1997, I performed my compositions live with my own band in Buenos Aires and began a solo recording career with the worldwide release of my first album "The Years Alone" on the North American label Green Linnet/Xenophile. On this album I arranged and performed 11 of my songs written between 1986 and 1993. I played most of the instruments, but included guest appearances by some great South American players.

My recording career continued with "Segundo Ciclo" (1997), released worldwide by Timeless Records, and 12 more albums released between 2000 and 2016.

Currently, I work as an on-demand film/TV composer while continuing to play live and produce.
