A one take session I made with the small modular setup in a most beautiful place. The upcoming thunderstorm, birds and incoming rain I've recorded right in front where I lived for ten days. The beauty here is undescribable and touches me deeply. I left more space for nature, the minimalistic modular sounds simply supporting the slow development of storm and rain.

With the jungle as our witness, Darren Austin Hall’s ethereal vocals blended with Sariel Orenda’s soul-stirring guitar, and live electronic music performance, creating a mystical journey through sound.
Grateful for everyone who joined us in this sacred space. 🌊🎶

This was a live set where I played individual elements and loops from my tracks, rather than full arrangements. These types of performances allow for a more dynamic and alive journey, where the music continuously unfolds in fresh forms and new ways of storytelling. This tribute to Rapé is my bow to this Medicine of the Amazon, to the knowledge and the simplicity of the people creating this  and to the wisdom of the plants.

This set is one of several live sets in a series that will slowly and lovingly, like our musical vibration, open up to the world, bit by bit, piece by piece.

As musical and deep-soul brethren, Captures and Sādana have been harnessing their crafts for years, letting the winds blow their spirits from land to land, shining bright, even in the darkest of places. Their paths crossed in Berlin, the crux of electronic music and led them to collaborate and co-create on a crucial body of work, just when the World needed it most. This series, coming to be known as K I N S H I P, explores the depths of our hearts and the strength and courage in our patience, in friendship, in service; together. It is primarily improvised, with an undercurrent of produced work performed and launched live by Captures then layered and performed over by Sādana. 

So let the vibe simmer and crisp on both sides. Let the full flavor marinate and settle in, allowing it to reach it's full potential. Welcome the imperfections and let the authenticity and purity of the performance shine through. And just remember, you are love.
