First up on the fresh Amsterdam-based label Late Night Burners is Kurley’s debut “Feelings EP”. For this young and very talented musician anything goes, as long as it’s unique, warm, rhythmic, and raw, and this five tracker perfectly showcases this ethos.

From the uplifting, acid-driven title track, we dive straight into “Heartbeat”, taking us a level deeper. On the B-side Kurley starts off with the stabby, slightly melancholic “Long Time” while never losing the floor out of sight, preparing us for the vocoder-infused killer “Groove All Night”. Closing off the EP is “Tribute”, bringing a more exotic type of heat. In short: a lot to love.

'Taboo Traxx man Jackie provides the next one on the young label, a breathe of fresh air for sure. The second EP from the Taboo camp features three fantastic originals from the talented producer and includes a simple mix from, fellow founder T.Oceans. Both artists leading the label by example here. 
 
Opener ‘No Gravity’ is a slick bit of stripped back deep house with warm, lush chords that hark back to the New York heyday of the 90s. It is silky stuff to get you grooving and in the vibe, carrying on proceedings is then 'It Was A Dream (T.Oceans Mix)' a cool and uptempo house cut with garage tinged percussive patterns that keep you on your toes next to heartfelt late night chords. 
 
The ante is upped with the busy, bristling 'Vertigo', which is again a stylish house cut, this time with cosmic and sci-fi chords panning round the mix as the prickly percussion and hurried drums race along. Last of all, 'Run The Street's is built on breaking beats and gooey pads that add a richness to the deep grooves within. It's perfectly slick and seductive, rounding out another great EP from Jackie, T.Oceans and their Taboo Traxx imprint. '
