At age 3, I would sneak into the basement to record mixtapes on my dad's ghetto blaster. My legs, chest and stomach would tingle when I heard a song I loved. This tingling became my go to method for song selection. I kept all of my recordings secret and didn't start sharing music until much later, but when I realized others could feel "the tingle", it was like discovering a new planet.
