With Halloween soon upon us and all the creepy fun that it entails, we wanted to do something a little different from the usual ghouls, goblins and ghosts for this year’s fun. Nat had this idea to have a play with the great pop song David Bowie wrote and made famous in 1969. A song that speaks perhaps to drug addiction as much as anything to do with the vast and gloriously scary expanse of outer space, we tried to put our own Daniels & Durgy spin on it. Though generally in line with Bowie’s fantastic composition, we made some subtle changes to introduce a little love interest to the picture...does his wife actually work as one of the Ground Controllers?! Enjoy the journey and Happy Halloween everyone!

Also, I’ve been jamming with Jarod, Tek, Gary and Shelbie on Sundays in a little white house out past Stilesville. We record under the name “makebelieve”. Hope to post some jams every now and then .

Since October 2023, Sunday jams with Gman and Reggie.  We record under name of:   “the charlatans”.  Or lately, the Sunday Jam.

Heinrich Dahms, alias Babún @babunmusic (www.babunmusic.com), is a filmmaker, guitarist & song-writer from South Africa based in the Netherlands. Co-owner of film production company BUZZMEDIA NETWORK (www.buzzmedia.net).

We are two old friends from KY. Posting songs we recorded many years ago on Tascam cassette recorders...and starting to get together to write and record again on a Tasccam DP24 when our dad schedules allow...hopefully we'll have some new ones to post soon.

Here it is 2019 & I've been performing around Houston for well over 30+ years now. Born in the late 60's,raised on rock radio during the 70's,graduated in the mid-80's, & performed throughout the 90's until April 1998. Over a year later,started working for Guitar Center Inc. in early September of 1999. A couple of years later,got back playing lead guitar in a coverband working Sherlock's bar circuit on a stint from 2002-2006. In May of 2006,a came highly recommended by a close friend to tryout for an 80's New Wave/Pop/Rock Supergroup in Houston called The Chromatics. After one audition,I got a gig playing lead guitar for The Chromatics around late-July of 2006. Later on,I started pursuing side projects to expand musically which included some studio work,high profile live music venues,corporate shows,church praiseband,acoustic solos/duos,& local open mics. local open mics. I worked at Guitar Center from 1999 to 2024 & played lead guitar for The Chromatics from 2006 to 2018. Starting in 2019,I begin my latest endeavor as a cover based solo acoustic entertainer. I am blessed. Life is good😎
