Unter dem Motto „06911 – Music made in Frankfurt“ hat der musikalisch breit aufgestellte Dj und Unternehmer Dennis Smith die besten Songs verschiedener international bekannter Künstlerinnen und Künstler aus der Mainmetropole auf einer Compilation versammelt.

Die Compilation besteht aus 2 Mixtapes:

„Deep & Electronic“: Dieser Mix vereint die Crème de la Crème der Frankfurter Elektro-Szene. „Nice & Soulful“: Dieser Mix (Online ab dem 01.04.23) bringt die besten Frankfurter Soul und Hip-Hop Artists zusammen, wie z. B. Kaye Ree & die WeGotSoul-Crew, Sophia Martin, Dj Release, Audiotreats, Dj Opossum, Jimmie Wilson und Riverside. Einige Pophits gibt es noch dazu von den Weathergirls, Carmen Corinna, Papilon Rising und Butch Williams. Mixing a podcast is not the hardest job. We all know that. Due to the mass of music released every week it´s quite easy to find functional tracks for an hour of music. 

But I wanted to do something special this time. Collecting music for a studio podcast is different to what you´re looking for to playing in clubs. So I was looking for some heartbreakers and that really took me a while. 

There is so much music which never reached the charts but was made by great artists, great minds. It´s the artistic way of producing music which makes it special. And that´s the simple story behind the name "Great Minds Think Alike".
