Based in Russia, Mokre’tzy Konstruktor is one of the best kept secrets of minimal wave and experimental electronics. Fusing gritty synths, mangled drum machines, delays, alien vocals and an improvisational style, Forms is destined to be a new classic. 
Influenced by music’s psychological impact on perception of the surrounding world, and spelled out in their own words, Forms is “an attempt to cut through its dark component, to quickly reflect the emotional state of the moment. Inspired by reflections on the frailty of life... The attitude towards what turns out as a result is devoid of claims and musical ambitions; just an experiment to get to know yourself better.”

Fleck E.S.C. of Tokyo displays his unique ability to draw listeners in to a vibrant and funky experience with this brilliant 4-track EP. The texture and subtlety in his production serve their intent, building a sonic backdrop that features elements as mental and visceral as an abstract on canvas, as dramatic and affecting as a futuristic tech noir printed to 35mm. This is a sonic realm which belongs entirely to Fleck E.S.C.

Celebrating the release of the Scottish producer's new album - Anatomically Correct - Darkfloor invited Chris to record a mix of influences behind his  fantastic sonic interpretation of entropy.

"Shards of sonics crunch and swell as they flow over, through and at you. Step beats, booms, icy crystals and mischievous machines flex all the while."

His influences behind the album are varied. Some are direct as heard on certain tracks, like Autechre's 'bqbqbq'. Whilst others are tracks he was listening to, off and on, around the time of writing - WSR and Expressway Yo Yo Dieting. Other tracks are deeper influences, from much further back, like Boogie Down Productions and EOG.

We are not looking to be different, we just want to embrace differences.
