"Matthew Cullen has been engaged in electronic music since the mid ’90s, shaping his very own unique style ranging from Funk, Soul, Deep House and Techno. Started playing at club “Dr Smith” in Rio de Janeiro in 95 followed by a residency at the club “Circus” in Sao Paulo in 96. From there he and Shane Hughes (Fusion) co-founded Psychedelic Underground Sound System. Hiring farms on the edge of Sao Paulo was the very beginning of the first outdoor raves in Brasil. Continuing with raves in the north of Brasil he teamed up with Aljay (Groovetech Radio & Sunburn Recordings) and Mario to form Global Tribe Sound System. After returning to the UK in the late ’90s he is now part of the club and outdoor party scene in the north of England with Screwloose Sound System. Concentrating now on Music Production and with the imminent launch of his third release later this year, Matthew Cullen is guaranteed to deliver."
