FEEL MY BICEP Podcast 186 - Pablo Bozzi

Pablo Bozzi’s musical journey begins at the age of 6 during his «classical» training years, he then shapes his harpsichord practice for almost ten years at the National Conservatory of Toulouse. 

After finishing his degree in Sound Design in Montpellier in 2018, he moves to Berlin to advance his musical career, through his project Imperial Black Unit with Templer, he gains recognition in the scene, after a series of releases on respected labels and a Boiler Room in the famous KHIDI Club, in Tbilisi.

His passion for Italo Disco, Synthwave and the sonic and aesthetic landscape of the 80’s led him to release a solo EP «Walk On Wire» on the Berghain resident’s label, Phase Fatale.

This EP marks the beginning of his will to reinterpret these genres with a modern touch. Shortly after this release, Bozzi and Phase Fatale joined forces to create their duo Soft Crash, describing this music as «Italo Body Music».

Throughout this unprecedented period, he has been busy honing his sound through several releases and remixes, including the « Last Moscow Mule » EP released on Jennifer Cardini’s label, Dischi Autunno, as well as his Second Sight residency on Berliner streaming platform HÖR.

Our first podcast of the year features an abundance of euphoria and summer reminiscence courtesy of DJ, Producer and Ritmo Fatale label boss @kendal3000. 'Set me Free' and 'Techno Positivo' were definitely some of the highlight tracks played during our last festival edition, and this podcast evokes those cherished flashbacks. Over the course of an hour, Kendal presents his signature synth-wave sounds while navigating through different eras, genres, and emotions. Enjoy the ride!

🇬🇪❤️Already my fifth time visiting Georgia , and this time I ventured out of Tbilisi to discover the western coast and play at the incredible Komorebi Festival in Anaklia, a half-finished seaside resort marked by the country's economic and political struggles.

The juxtaposition of semi-abandoned buildings and the rave created a unique, almost post-apocalyptic atmosphere. Experiencing it was truly indescribable.

The festival took place on a tiny island, gathering ravers, stacks of Function One, and an all-star lineup of the best Georgian residents. It was an incredible experience, both as a DJ and a raver, I learned and dance so much ! 

Bonus : I managed to record my three-hour set, including the audience vibe captured by extra mics.

A huge thank you to the Komorebi Festival for having me all weekend, and thanks to everyone who came and shared the dance floor with me.

Every time I visit Georgia, I leave feeling refreshed and clear-minded, any doubts or anxieties are gone. I reconnect with myself, my music, and my art.
