Part soundtrack, part audio play, Empathy (alpha) is the first of five discrete sci-fi cinematic scenes in this album, each scored as a work of drama. The music is structured on a 9x9x9 numerical matrix and is inspired by sci-fi soundtracks and electronica of the 70s and 80s.

Dabbling here and there as a DJ who played after hours on their friend’s CDJ-1000s, @follidh did not originally think this was the path they would be led. After a culmination of creating their Don’t Trust Human’s Only for Robots mix series, and hearing DJs such as Sassmouth and Loren is when the music clicked and they knew this is what they were supposed to be doing. Not allowing themselves to be held to genres, you can hear anything from electro and deep house, to smooth harmonica bangers in their sets. Currently Follidh is focusing on their multidisciplinary event series, Don't Trip and Follidh which donates proceeds to a different charity or non-profit each month. With the last one being an official Movement Music Festival after party and the next one being held at Chicago’s Hairpin Arts Center on June 26th, this is not something you want to miss.

A team of experts, including scientists and musicians, has created a new way to explore the images and data from the NASA/ESA/CSA James Webb Space Telescope. The first two tracks map the prismatic landscapes of the Cosmic Cliffs in the Carina Nebula as well as two views of the Southern Ring Nebula. A third track plays the notes of a transmission spectrum, which graphs the atmospheric characteristics of hot gas giant exoplanet WASP-96 b. All allow listeners to pick out key features and experience the data in a new way.

Composer and sound designer Jan Hertz heralds the new year with a labour of love: an album that brings together friends and fellow musicians, as well as his own passion for music. Melancholic and sweet, sometimes weird and humorous, the diverse yet coherent collection of twelve tracks shows Jan’s far-flung inspirations: delicate drum programming melts with kraut-rock like arpeggios, while almost kitschy piano miniatures counter crackling breakbeats.

The album title „Moj“ hints at different things: you can follow its roots back to the Low German word for "good", the Finnish expression for "hello" or Slavic translations of "mine". This album similarly combines Jan’s very intimate and playful introverted compositions with the warmth of collaborations and friendly encounters.
