It is the sincere hope of this mix series to gift the essence of Playa magic back into the default world; because, the magic of Burning Man, is no different than the magic of the default world; same, same. London-based Redfreya takes us through a ourney of atmospheric melodic house for number 194 of LWE mix series.

Breaking through the scene only two years ago, Redfreya has been making a solid impact in the underground house scene. Having performed at some of UK’s top institutions including fabric, Egg and Manchester’s Joshua Brooks, the Bloop London Radio resident has quickly climbed up in the ranks. Sharing the DJ booth with the likes of Jan Blomqvist and Tinlicker in the past, as well as currently holding residency at MNKY HSE and IMOTO, the DJ brings nostalgic and emotional sounds, blending dreamy melancholia and groovy percussion to her DJ and live performances.

Yohai Mor @yohai makes his debut on Univack with "Chasing Dreams / Paradox Shift", a four-track release that explores the most elegant and cosmic landscapes of contemporary Progressive House. Featuring two original tracks and two remixes, this work showcases a mature and profound vision of the genre, reaffirming Univack’s commitment to the melodic and emotional vanguard of modern electronic music.

The opening piece, "Chasing Dreams", unfolds a hypnotic narrative of sober pulses, spatial textures, and introspective grooves, while "Paradox Shift" reveals a brighter side, filled with emotion and immersive atmospheres that invite active contemplation.

The remixes strengthen the EP’s identity with their own character: Kebin van Reeken @kebinvanreeken-1 delivers a more minimalist and weighty version of "Chasing Dreams", enhancing its hypnotic magnetism; while master producer Subandrio @subandrio reinterprets "Paradox Shift" with a more solid and driving groove, without losing the melodic essence of the original.
