Bossa Nova literally means ‘new flair’ or ‘new trend’ in Portuguese. It is a style that was created in the late 1950’s. It is basically a fusion of Samba and Jazz, using traditional Brazilian rhythms. Here I add a Bluesy Twist to it, hope it works! 
First, you'll hear a clean guitar sound, then introducing a more overdriven one, for the grand final  :)))

It always amazes me how a collaboration can change the whole feeling of a song. Such is the case when Cloud artist Devin Locke reached out to me to collaborate.  I sent him a tune I had been working on, but would not necessarily stand on it's own.  What he did with his fine playing, getting inside the basic melody, bringing out the possibilities, reminded me of the playing of Django Reinhardt and helped me hear the song in a whole new light. A song I wrote for my dad just after he passed away. He was a well known watercolor artist and wrote an instrumental piece while surrounded by his artwork to honour his life and work.
