Les premières notes de cette chanson me sont arrivées en Mai 2022, juste après avoir composé "Même si tout s'arrête". Peut-être ce qui explique une certaine ressemblance dans la façon de les avoir construites, à savoir des accords de synthés vintage qui servent de support à la mélodie et une thématique parlant d'histoire d'amour. Mais la comparaison s'arrête là car les deux titres ont vraiment chacun un caractère et une identité propres qui les distinguent l'un de l'autre sans hésitation. 
Cette chanson est restée dans les cartons près de 1 an, avant que je n'écrive les paroles en Mai dernier, et que je l'enregistre. Ensuite mon ami Freddie de MTM Production a mis sa "touch" pour re-mixer et masteriser ce titre, en lui redonnant du punch et toute la dynamique nécessaire. Freddie, encore merci pour toute l'expérience et le temps que tu accordes à mes créations. C'est à mes yeux d'une valeur inestimable.
J'espère que vous prendrez plaisir à découvrir ce titre, au moins autant de plaisir que j'ai pu avoir à l'écrire et le réaliser. Comme d'habitude, n'hésitez pas à "liker" et reposter, c'est très apprécié et si important pour Freddie et moi!

The first notes of this song came to me in May 2022, just after composing “Même si tout s'arrête”. Perhaps this explains a certain resemblance in the way they were constructed, namely vintage synth chords which serve as support for the melody and a theme speaking of a love story. But the comparison stops there because the two titles really each have their own character and identity which distinguish them from each other without hesitation.
This song was in the works for almost a year, before I wrote the lyrics last May, and recorded it. Then my friend Freddie from MTM Production put his touch to re-mix and master this title, giving it some punch and all the necessary dynamics. Freddie, thank you again for all the experience and time you give to my creations. In my eyes, it is of inestimable value.
I hope you enjoy discovering this title, at least as much pleasure as I had writing and producing it. As usual, don't hesitate to "like" and repost, it's very appreciated and so important to Freddie and me!

PTSD INTRO

This a song about taking hits and wondering if things will ever get better. I had frustrating fun while making this song. I composed and recorded directly into Logic for the first time  and my old brain had trouble adapting to it.  I still mixed it with Reaper because I've been using it for several dog years and some cat years as well.  I ended up changing the drum track because sometimes songs need big drums and the first one ended up having too much reverb and sat in the back of the mix.

Curiosity is a good thing in life. Think the trepidation you can have when someone gives you a wrapped box without telling you what is inside. You might be surprised and the more you unwrap the more your curiosity grows finding things inside you didn't expect.

Mystery Box

💀OK.. consider it a sort of crazy bonus track, just to wish you a Happy Halloween! At the end of the track, you can hear some nonsensical stuff in Italian! Including the guitarist’s “ciao” (which we don’t think needs translating! Plus, it’s repeated several times😱), the drummer’s "la vampira pazza“ ("the crazy vampire”) and "sta suonando il violino“ ("she’s playing the violin”), and the singer’s "che cosa fai?" (“what are you doing?”), referring to the guitarist who was scraping the guitar strings with the microphone, producing a rather irritating sound!!🤬
What else is there to say? Nothing... if you survive listening to this stuff... Happy Halloween!!😅😜👻🫶🎃
