A great song and a very cool lyric to meet the theme for the competition. Love those tiny pauses before the chorus. The bridge is really fab too - a power pop feel to me. A really terrific ending too! The song is beautifully produced and mixed and I wish you lots of success in the competition!

This is a track from my album TALES OF A NOMAD, a collection of impressions from decades of living a nomadic life for professional reasons. It is inspired by the famous ballad by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe from 1782.

This track is my submission for the latest round (3) of the 'Spintunes' songwriting competition. The challenge was to write and record a song about or prominently mentioning a song (or other piece of music). In this instance my song within the song is the ‘one hit’ of the title. Essentially, the “Oh my, oh my love” refrain. Does that fulfil the brief? No idea.
