Persiano é um cantor, compositor e instrumentista mineiro com 20 anos de carreira que lança agora seu segundo álbum solo, “Pessoas reais disponíveis para conversar”. 

Quatro anos separam “Art La Vista” (Independente, 2014), primeira incursão solo do compositor mineiro Persiano, de “Pessoas reais disponíveis para conversar” (Tangerina, 2018), seu mais recente trabalho.

A surpreendente faixa “Pessoas reais disponíveis para conversar”, sintetiza o espírito do álbum, tanto em sonoridade como em conceito, e diz a que veio no próprio título. Segundo o autor, a música “brinca com o futuro próximo, onde pessoas reais disponíveis para conversar serão coisas do passado. Narra a viagem do homem com ele mesmo, a falta de tempo, o mecanismo, a máquina, a dificuldade de olhar para si.” 

A sonoridade brinca com o paralelo entre suas referências estéticas do pop eletrônico produzido no final da década de 1970 e início de 1980, com timbres espaciais que nos transportam a uma realidade entre passado/futuro que não o presente. 

Persiano também faz parte da banda Vitrolas, em pausa neste momento, além de dividir com o também cantor e instrumentista Bernardo Dias,  o duo Mordomo.

Estende-se da música propriamente dita à poesia incluindo o emprego de modos musicais de caráter patético, descrições de cenas desencorajantes - sobretudo as que inspiram o temor da morte e o desapreço dos deuses - a expressão de lamentações e queixumes, atribuída a heróis ilustres, narrativas não edificantes, representações trágicas, que induzem ao domínio das paixões violentas, e as cômicas, favoráveis ao desequilíbrio da conduta.

David Dines is a Sao Paulo-based singer, songwriter and producer. Born in the city of Belo Horizonte, this restless Gemini comes from a nomadic family that moved across Brazil for generations. This background fed the artist’s desire to bend different cultures and make them dialogue through music. On record and live, David Dines enables a synergy between a classic pop vibe and the tropical sounds of Brazil, in the center of other cross-genre experiments. The core of the work is built by stories of struggle, desire, longing and empathy, that find their way through smooth, melodic vocals and throbbing beats. Both as artist and individual, David Dines’ stance is that of underlining a possible connection between tenderness and obstinacy.

GOMA GRINGA DISCOS is a Brazilian, São Paulo based, record label that aims to promote forgotten music from the past and contemporary brazilian recording artists.
To achieve this goal the two partners Frédéric Thiphagne and Matthieu Hebrard are on one side, producing their own releases - re-issues projects and contemporary brazilian bands releases - and, on the other side, representing various record labels from Europe by launching Brazilian editions of their releases. GOMA GRINGA DISCOS creates thereby a cultural and musical bridge between Brazil and the rest of the world.
GOMA GRINGA DISCOS’s musical spectrum is vast but could be defined as focused on the so-called Tropical rhythms. Afrobeat, funk, cumbia, ethio-jazz, baião, afro-brazilian, carimbó, ska and ghanaian highlife are some of the styles that will be part of the label’s catalogue.
