La Geometria dei Cieli (The Geometry of the Heavens) can be envisioned as an invisible harmony that structures the universe, a silent dance of stars and orbits that follows ancient and perfect laws. In this ethereal space, the souls of those who once were and are no longer find their abode, not in physical form, but as luminous essences that merge with the constellations. Each soul becomes part of a greater design, a line drawn among the stars that continues to exist through time and space, vibrating in harmony with the cosmic balance. Though no longer present in the earthly realm, they are an integral part of this eternal pattern, elusive yet profoundly real, that connects the visible to the invisible, the finite to the infinite. Class 1998, always passionate about music, i start studying saxophone at the age of 12 and then moved to the piano in 2016.
Lover of classical, minimalist and pop music, I try to incorporate the peculiar characteristics of those genres into my compositions to create meditative and engaging sounds.
I’m currently studying Electronic Music at the Conservatory of Lecce and classical piano at a private institution.

Edoardo Gastaldi, born in 1998, is an award-nominated film-music composer based in Venice, Italy. 
His style combines slow piano lines with deep ambient atmospheres. In his creations, the frontier of repetitive post-classical minimalism meets deep compositional ambient layers, leading his arrangements to become a philosophical thread of condensed melancholy and sparse hope.
After several years of music studies, which provided him with formal training ranging from classical piano to music theory, in the summer of 2021, Edoardo started publishing his compositions and productions.
The influence of 17th-19th century pianists and the fascination for experimental edges make his music an ever-evolving equilibrium among Modern Classical, Ambient, and Post-Rock subgenres.

Gastaldi's philosophical approach is inspired by the sounds of foundational artists including Johan Söderqvist, Hammock, Tony Anderson, Leonard Petersen, Atli Örvarsson, Stephen Porter, Ronit Kirchman, Sigur Rós, John Cage and Nils Frahm.

Edoardo’s work deeply reflects his desire to explore human fragility, paradoxes, and the complexities of existence. Over time, his soundtracks were described as capable of delving into the big consequences and underlying roots we can’t avoid.

In 2024 Gastaldi scored the soundtrack for the multi-award-winning short film “Etilismo”, a story that delves into the sensitive issue of chronic alcoholism in youth.

My music has cinematic angles, classical influences, often strong melodies and ambient soundscapes. Piano is my main instrument, which I've been playing for decades now. Lately I'm more into composing music for listening and experimenting with sound, harmonies, rhythm, emotion and space. Follow me on spotify for that. My commercial music is used in video, broadcasting, TV/Radio, for media campaigns, film, advertising, documentaries, websites and probably for lots more I'm not aware of... This music is produced under various names.
