The Journey

You started with a single cell meeting another single cell, then multilying in doubles until you became who you are. Musically Genesis takes you on that in a cinematic way through the representation of rhythm and melody. The trumpet plays one note, then two, then 4, 8, 16, 32 and so forth. After a bit the development leads to a moment where the heart begins to beat. The theme becomes identifiable as a unique entity which is the soul and essence of you.

Playground brings the simplicity of childhood and the fun frolic of youth to the musical journey. As at home in a childlike setting as in a nightclub focusing on let-your-hair-down fun, this catchy tune will make you smile and reminisce of younger carefree days.

When little boys discover mermaids, they fall in love. Little girls want to be mermaids. Boys find that mermaids are more beautiful than themselves and are very dangerous as well. This fantasy takes you into the world of the mythical creatures of beauty and allure. To the caves of their undersea lives and into the hierarchy of their world. There is a melody that clearly represents the king of the sea as well as conversation between mermaids and someone in teh outerworld who works to communicate with these seductive creatures.

Never Give Up! The line between success and failure involves the ability to persevere past where others give up. Be encouraged. As the great Quincy Jones once told me. "Keep on keeping on."

Enough is never enough. If one is good two are better. Then twelve must be great. For all the tendencies we have in our nature to overly endulge in things we enjoy, this song takes it to a musical place. Robert Eibach starts the song with his club hook and beat. Guitarist Ariel shows her remarkable stuff with a very edgy screaming electric guitar performance that plays well with others- namely singers Katie Shorey and Andie Sandoval, together known as the electric pop duo Stiletto. The song builds to a head to head conversation of over the top performing from Ariel on the guitar and David on the trumpet.

David Longoria is an artist, trumpet player, composer and record producer. He has worked with many of the top artists and producers of our generation. In the dance world he has produced hundreds of records for artists and labels all over the world. His newest Dance Single is Angles which combines his jazz and classically influenced trumpeting with trumpeting along with current progressive house production. The result is the groundbreaking melodic and rhythmic sound. This is the first single from the highly anticipated Instrumental Dance album The Journey which is scheduled to be released at the end of the year.
