“Feeling You” is a song that highlights the hedonism often associated with nightlife and music culture. The song was written by David Marston and Craig Williamson during a studio session at Marston’s former home in Kingston, Jamaica. It begins with Williamson’s crooning voice scatting and making seemingly indiscernible melodic utterances over a skeletal rhythm. The instrumental soon starts to gain body and muscle, gradually morphing into an hypnotic beat with a swirling arpeggiated synth, punchy bass hits, and stomping drums. Williamson cooly sings about seduction, over-indulgence, and drug consumption during a late night out in the club. 

Notably, Italian DJ and production duo, Lowheads (@lowheads), have crafted a first-rate classic house remix of the song, as well as a dub mix that make up additional tracks on the release. In contrast to the trippy, down-tempo quality of the original, Lowheads’ two renditions give the song an exemplary and buoyant dance-floor makeover that are extremely DJ friendly.

Nights are coming and going and faces appear and vanish, great plans are made and rarely held up to. While that is the mode that keeps the machine running, from time to time something greater can evolve out this fast paced spare time profession. That is to say, it is a great pleasure to smooth the way for our dear friend »Kleintierschaukel« and his »Blue Elephant«.

A rare species whose origins are found in »Motomia« (A1), that odd place where sticky clocks tick faster than time passes. Still all confusion is lost in the calm whispering of Juliette (A2), a harmony of strange confidence. Despite all its apparent harmlessness, it needs the soothing voice of our all beloved Leonie to let its vast figure withdraw to the rivers and show the gentle nature of this »Unterwassermann« (B1). Back in his element all notches are smoothed out and movements unite in a rythmic flow. This is not a documentary, this is the Blue Elephant: »TV Ende« (B2).

All echoisms aside: We are very happy to have Mr. »Valentin Stip« from Montreal himself contribute his interpretation of »Motomia« (D), a delicate dissection, reunited to a greater interaction of the most gentle kind.

I've always wanted to play the Cello Song very late night/early morning but really wanted to still maintain a bit of energy.  I wanted to put together a transitional piece from the late thump in to the early soothing.  This one track came out of a mix from a live set.

Jamaica-born NYC-based artist David Marston inches closer to the release of his debut album on Kindness of Bearer Recordings by revealing the latest single, an emotive ballad titled 'Feeling You' that's paired with a beefed up deep house remix by Lowheads.
