Musician & songwriter driven just by passion for songwriting and singing. I am releasing "SoundCloud first" but some selected songs are also on https://potbarley.bandcamp.com or Spotify etc, sometimes in older versions though.
Since spring 2023 I have been writing and recording mainly as a "one man band", using acoustic & electric guitars, bass guitar, keyboards, an old piano, conga, etc. and a voice.
Former member of German bands: In Rags (with Sami Yli-Sirniö and Roman Keymer), Sharkpool and Dutch bands Garbitsjkeng, The Wit, Trio van Putten and and a few others. I baptized my Alter Ego and named him "Pot Barley".

Late in life, Thomas fulfills his passion for creating and performing songs. Alice, one of his two daughters, adds her touch and her voice. The songs are for some in French and for others in English, and interpreted either by Al(Alice), or by To(Thomas), or in duet or by guests. We hope you will like it and encourage us to continue!

Three names I go by are JOrdon (which I use for Bandcamp and SC) and Jae Ordon and Mascot’s Distance,(which I use everywhere else, such as Spotify, Apple, etc.).

I've written music for Taye Diggs, Ian Gillan of Deep Purple, Pete Yorn, the Gorillaz Dan the Automator, John Spencer Blues explosion’s Russel Simons and Bed Bath and Beyond.  In summer of 2022 my recording Life Whispers On was #7 on Canada’s Cashbox Radio.  Currently finishing up a musical called Humane.


I'm playing all the instruments on many tunes, ones I'm not are…Brian Allen of Lori McKenna, Christopher Cross and Robben Ford on Bass, Michael McDonald's horn section, in addition to Yutaka Uchida playing drums on some tunes and Laurent Medelgi on guitar, also Danny Zanker and Joe Bearclaw Burcaw playing bass.
