A precise and powerful dream'n'space journey that carried the outdoor stage from late afternoon into the golden hour.

[DISSECTION] is a mix series where various artists show their personal spice and flavor. Aspetuck presents a wide variety of atmospheres and assembles them fluidly, putting focus on the shifting colors of the palette. The process of continuous rebuilding and deconstructing layers, filled with mystic tones and smooth percussion. A mix of tonality and drive straight from the urban jungle of NYC.

GIFKIKKER is a Brussels based collective and label that fuses roughness and bite with depth- and clarity. Ilya Semashkevich is a Belarusian-Polish composer, sound engineer, and multidisciplinary artist born in 1997 in Brest. His practice merges electronic and acoustic composition, live performance, improvisation, and visual expression. With a background in jazz, sound production, and experimental music, he works across genres such as ambient, idm, trance, house, and contemporary classical. His approach treats sound as both structure and form, a tool for perception, memory, and artistic thinking. Influenced by lo-fi aesthetics, minimalism, and sonic spatiality, Semashkevich explores the concept of “Imaginative Mixing”, aural equivalents of visual composition.

Ilya had to say the following about this live-recording: "For me, this live performance became a release of accumulated thoughts about home life and the art of “dirty listening.”
Life runs, flows, flies, crawls, stands still.
And I sit, walk, float, watch.
In hot or frosty, gray or yellow days - coziness makes me stronger.
Listening to this recording on a proper sound system will, of course, be great, but even through your phone speakers, you won’t lose its essence."

Adhémar is a multi-disciplinary artist, establishing his universe through music and visual works in constant state of interplay. His his universe is built little by little, patiently narated, with each and every element perpetually becoming and finding it’s place within the greater whole 💫

In this soul nourishing chapter of our Podcast Series, we are welcomed with a warm embrace of atmospheric textures, acoustic instrumentation and field recordings all tightly knit into a soft carpet of tranquillity patiently advancing into the various territories of jazz, spanning soulful, spiritual, avant-garde and ambient across it’s nearly two hour duration 🎷🐿️

We are honoured to welcome gifted sound artist Sarah Wreath to the series, who presents a stunning live recording of her performance at No Way Back earlier this year.

Held each May in Detroit, Return to the Source is Interdimensional Transmissions’ annual convergence - a five-day sequence of gatherings that merge ritual, community, and deep sonic exploration. 2025 marked the 30th anniversary of IT.

At its heart is No Way Back, a marathon celebration that stretches through the night and into daylight, flowing into Lot Mass and The Bunker to form more than thirty hours of continuous sound. Set within Tangent Gallery’s transformed halls, the event bridges the kinetic and the contemplative: the No Way Back Room pulses with raw energy and motion, while the Outer Space Room offers an immersive sanctuary for ambient and experimental performance. Each edition honors Detroit’s lineage of innovation while nurturing a living, evolving community - one devoted to listening, connection, and transcendence through sound. The immersive installations from Amber Gillen and the Infinite Dimensions crew reshaped the venue into something both familiar and otherworldly - a vessel for deep listening, shared energy, and collective transformation.

Within this atmosphere, Sarah Wreath continued to set the ritual space with a sonic voyage, guiding listeners through a slow, meditative current, unfolding with subtle movement and a pulse beneath stillness. Hypnotic tones, trance edges, and rhythmic drift gently carried the audience into motion. It was less a performance than a passage - a threshold between the tangible and the imagined, holding the space in quiet intensity before the long journey of the night ahead.
