Ilya Semashkevich is a Belarusian-Polish composer, sound engineer, and multidisciplinary artist born in 1997 in Brest. His practice merges electronic and acoustic composition, live performance, improvisation, and visual expression. With a background in jazz, sound production, and experimental music, he works across genres such as ambient, idm, trance, house, and contemporary classical. His approach treats sound as both structure and form, a tool for perception, memory, and artistic thinking. Influenced by lo-fi aesthetics, minimalism, and sonic spatiality, Semashkevich explores the concept of “Imaginative Mixing”, aural equivalents of visual composition.

Ilya had to say the following about this live-recording: "For me, this live performance became a release of accumulated thoughts about home life and the art of “dirty listening.”

And I sit, walk, float, watch.
In hot or frosty, gray or yellow days - coziness makes me stronger.
