Captain Ulitka - South Pole Wall (Spitzer Ambient Series 2021)

This summer i had the pleasure to play some records in the wonderful Garden at Zadar, Croatia. Here's the recording of the first hour recorded saturday afternoon. Every time I listen to it I have the fondest memories of standing there in the shade, watching the ships float by, sipping on Aperol Spritz and playing some music for my lady reading a book, Bobby Beige taking a nap and the garden's guests chilling out. 
I have to mention that this mix start with a recording by Luc Ferrari called Presque Rien No1 (Le Lever Du Jour Au Bord De La Mer). 
The original recordings for his work Presque Rien are said to be recorded at the croation coast not far away from Zadar so I took the opportunity to bring it back there. Kind of my way to say thank you, Monsieur Ferrari. At least I got rewarded by some strange looks of the garden's service team :) I hope you enjoy this releaxed hour ...

Deep Electronics # 286 -  Mr.Sideburns

Ach, November Leute. Das war aufregend. Wir haben das Album finanziert bekommen und befinden uns nun in der stressigen Phase, alles von der GEMA "abgesegnet" zu bekommen. So weit vom Segnen ist das auch gar nicht entfernt, wenn man sich überlegt, was für eine "Institution" das eigentlich ist.
Naja. Jedenfalls hab ich mich durch den Papierkram gewälzt und warte nun auf die Bestätigung, sodass wir alles Pressen lassen dürfen.
Wie auch immer.
Jetzt zum Mix: Wie immer hab ich die Platten einfach aus dem Regal gezogen und gespielt. Anfangs dachte ich "Ja, geil!" - aber nachdem ich fertig war, war ich mir überhaupt nicht sicher, ob der Mix etwas geworden ist. Ich hab lange überlegt, ob ich den überhaupt veröffentlichen sollte, dachte mir dann aber " Alter, du hast bisher auch richtig schlimme Mixe veröffentlicht. So Schrecklich ist der jetzt auch wieder nicht!".

Also raus damit - zu Euch.
Ihr entscheidet, ob Euch das gefällt oder eben nicht. Ich hab da eigentlich auch gar nicht mitzureden.

P.S. Der nächste Mix wird vermutlich länger werden. Nächsten Monat gehe ich nämlich durch alle Alben! YEHAAAA.
