Here's the recording of my sunrise set at the Atlantis stage during Bucht der Träumer. I want to give a big shout-out to all the incredible dancers and my dear friends who endured the scorching sun with me. I'll be upfront – this isn't my smoothest set. You might notice some quirky transitions starting right somewhere in the middle when the sun came out and suddenly blinded me. But you know what? It was a truly special day, and I wanted to share it with all of you.
Facing that relentless sun without any shades, struggling to see the CDJ screens and mixer, and sweating like crazy while trying not to faint. And mind you dealing with major sleep deprivation – it was quite a challenge, but also a hilarious adventure, depends on how you look at it ;) 
Anyway, here's the recording, and I hope you can still enjoy it. 
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the festival for inviting me and providing such an exceptional experience. This has definitely been the highlight of all the festivals I've been a part of this summer. Sending you all much love.

Niki Sadeki @ Atlantis Stage - Bucht der Träumer 2023

Expressing myself with words is one of my strengths, yet writing about Mystic Creatures Festival really challenges me, as a part of me is still there. I could not have wished for a better season closure than this weekend at that mystical island alongside so so many friends, some of my favorite artists and a spectecular weather. I was many times in awe with how beautiful this festival and the location were and felt so often immensely blessed and grateful to be a part of it.

This summer was, for me personally, the toughest I have experienced in my adult life.  Since I feel very seen and free as a mystic artist, I took the chance to dive deep into my own process and transform it into art. If you have been listening to my sets so far, then you should be familiar with how the healing power of music expresses itself through me. This time, it really took an unforeseeable depth, which really touched and touches the bottom of my soul. I dedicate this set to my ancestors: I stand upon your shoulders and, without you, I wouldn't be experiencing this miraculous life; may those of you who do no longer live rest in peace, and may those who still breathe enjoy every bit of the life ahead of you 🙏

When I started my set on Sunday at 21:00 in the Tiger's Tent, the dance floor was totally empty. I would lie if I say that didn't get to me. But within just a few minutes it got full, it was so beautiful to see how many people came to see me. There were some technical difficulties with the recording, so I ended up not recording the crowd in the first +- 15 minutes. But I still managed to integrate some crowd interactions to help us feel the energy that took place during my set. It was an experience for all of us who were there, I have no doubt. 

I want to give a huge thanks goes to the organizers, the island owner, the crew and every volunteer who gave their time and energy to make this festival what is was - we made history together. Another huge thanks goes to all the friends and (some of my favorite) artists who came to listen to my set - that's the perfect combination anyone wishes when playing a special festival gig like this one. I so so appreciate the awesome energy you've brought with you, from wild joyfulness to heartfelt tears. Thank you <3

I was really delighted to play at an open-air event again at the end of September. And on top of that, it was one of our own events, held on our own premises. I am very proud to present to you the very first (official) set from woodlands Kulturgarten. As always, we start off very smoothly and gradually transition into a more lively and rhythmic vibe, all while enjoying a freshly poured wheat beer☀️🍺.

A diverse mix featuring artists like Fettes Brot, Hall & Oates, Überhaupt & Außerdem, Purple Disco Machine, Super Flu and Mac Miller.

The extremely talented Frankfurt-based producer with a certain penchant for melancholy and big feelings needs no further introduction. We're talking about the lovely https://soundcloud.com/cedricscheibel, who everyone should really know. His releases definitely speak for themselves. As expected, his eye-opening mix is in the same vein. The catchy "Inception" opener alone is first class and opens the gates to the world of the 'Scheibelian' master, from which he never lets us leave. Trapped in the fundamental state of luminescence here and there he presses the accelerator a little. But very discreetly and naturally with a lot of organic and deep elements. Plus this deep & dreamy atmosphere. Simply magnificent and great cinema for mind and body. Definitely a mix for the all-time afterhour playlist and beyond. Word.

How this mix came about and what his thoughts behind it, he reveals to us as usual in our short interview:

✔️ What are your musical influences? What is your musical background?

As a child, I took my first musical steps on the piano, until I discovered my passion for electronic music as a teenager.  For a year now I have been trying to combine these two almost opposing worlds in my sets and productions. :)

✔️ In your opinion, what is the perfect afterhour for you?

The right people! Not too many, not too few. But with the right people around you, an afterhour is really fun anywhere and under any circumstances :)

✔️ What thoughts would you like to share with us about your mix?

I haven't recorded a podcast for a long time. Although this one is now a little faster than usual, it is still slightly melancholy as always, but also hopeful. Perhaps that's why it's very appropriate for the time of year, but also for world events in general.  Especially in times like these, I think it's important not to lose hope. :)

There are many of my own productions and of course from many artists that I really appreciate! I hope you enjoy listening. :)

Playing at Watergate never disappoints! There are not many places where the energy is so high right from the beginning, so we could kick off the night on a high note - and we loved playing a DJ set.

Thanks to the great crowd and the many friends that joined, and of course to the extremely talented producers of these gems. And thank you Watergate for inviting us again, already looking forward to the next time ❤️

Kon Faber @ Watergate | The Spell | Nov 2023

Every year, with the exception of 2020 for reasons we all know, I've been attending this incredible party. Each time, it leaves me feeling revitalized, brimming with energy, creativity, and motivation. The sheer talent present, both onstage and offstage at Katerblau, is astounding. Being invited back each year by my dear friend @mira_kater is an immense privilege and honor. 
These birthday celebrations go beyond mere social events - they are pivotal gatherings where artists converge, creating a fertile ground for collaboration and artistic exchange. This part is super important – it really ramps up how we all connect through art and expression, helping everyone's creativity shine, both solo and as a group. I'm especially grateful to Mira for orchestrating such a significant event around her birthdays <3 
This year, I had the honor of wrapping up the Heinz Hopper stage on Monday afternoon. My set began at 8:30 am, following the electrifying performance of @pauli-pocket and @sheila_wn. Although scheduled to conclude at noon, the energy was so infectious that I played until 2:30 pm. A highlight was playing back-to-back with @matildoutz-paris, an artist whose work I frequently admire. Initially, it was a group back-to-back session alongside Matilda, my good friend @shimon-earthly, and his music partner @farrylive. But in the last hour, it was just Matilda and me, creating an exhilarating atmosphere. Despite the fatigue from my travels, we were lost in the music, dancing, and feeding off the crowd's energy.
So, without further ado, here's the recording of that set. Bonus points to anyone who can guess first where the b2b session starts! ;)
