Next up on Déepalma Records, Australian duo Cup & String make their label debut with a double serving of indulgent Deep House flavours on ‘Come Back / So True’.

Cup & String was an idea between two mates in 2015 who share two decades of friendship. Since then, Ross & Lukasz have released on a wave of respectable imprints and received regular plaudits for their unique blend of House & UKG sounds from some of the biggest names in the industry.

Kicking off the release, ‘Come Back’ jumps straight into a firm body of 4/4 drums and crisp percussion. Very much a club-geared Deep House track, a hotbed of harmonic components rife with emotion collide perfectly with a sultry female vocal lead to create a gripping allure. A record built on rising energy and crowning moments, perfect for warming those winter dancefloors!

The release ends with ‘So True’, another main room primed melodic cut with an overflowing sentiment. Clean cut kicks and sizzling hat sequences pierce through the heart of the record, whilst a concoction of deepened synths and pads pulsate from end to end. Another striking vocal ties everything together, completing an undeniably rich and captivating club track.

German House sensation Ben Delay unleashes an awe-inspiring follow up mix package of his 2021 release ‚Before I Let Go‘, accompanied with mixes from Superdope & Qubiko, out on Déepalma Soul.

Opening the release, Ben’s alter ego Superdope turns in an upbeat and potent remix of ‘Before I Let Go’. Centring around commanding piano chords and the emotionally-charged vocals of London based singer song-writer Tess Leah, the track ticks all the boxes for a big room club floor filler with euphoric elements and danceable energy throughout.

Qubiko follows, with an astounding dub version of his previously released remix of the track, bringing larger than life beats and captivating melodic components with a deepened twist. Its lightly jacking groove and plucked bassline keep the drive alive from end to end whilst you go on a rollercoaster of peaks and troughs in between.

Ben Delay closes the release on a ‘Four To The Floor’ mix, bringing the tempo down and diving even deeper. Pulsating drums and crisp percussion give the track an enticing heartbeat whilst bleeding keys & rising pads swirl behind Tess Leah’s gripping topline, encapsulating an undeniably hair-raising closing track that touches your core.

Following Angelo Ferreri’s remix in early-2021, just over 12 months later, Sebb Junior & Sammy Deuce’s ‘Throw The Dice’ takes on a new form as Déepalma regulars Meines and Alex Lo Faro turn in a pair of rejuvenating remixes to bring one of our most popular EPs back to life.

Meines kicks things off with a dancefloor focused approach comprising rolling drums, scattered percs and emotive harmonies. The track’s pronounced body of rhythmic components provides the perfect accomplice for a swirling bed of melodic factors that rise continually whilst a sultry female vocal line glides in and out of the mix.

Alex Lo Faro’s remix comes next with soulful daytime flavours. Potent poolside vibes come into play from the outset, fusing firm drum work, crisp hat grooves and resonant tones with that velvety vocal to form a funk-filled vibe-builder from the very first beat.
