Submersion began his current project with the 2008 album "Cicada" and has been experimenting with electronic sounds since 2002. His main focus is on a combination of hypnotic ambient, drone, and dub techno.

Fifteen releases are under the Submersion alias on CD, vinyl, cassette, and digital formats.

Six self releases are in Submersion's discography, and he also has been a part of Silent Season, Rain, Wil-Ru Records, diametric., Deep Electronics, Space of Variants, ROHS! Records, Carpe Sonum Records, Circles & Spheres, Intrinsic Audio Sessions, Deeper Access, Hello Strange, and Milieu Music.

He lives in Lakewood, Ohio located on the coast of Lake Erie.
