This is the 108th Ambient Sessions presented by Deep Electronics. These monthly released sessions brings you the best and the most diversity Ambient music can offer. I am very excited for this months session because Karen Vogt is presenting her mix with fresh new music and  dives into atmosphere, nature, chanting and peaceful little sounds that emerge in all tracks that she selected for this occassion.

About:
Karen Vogt is an Australian artist who uses her voice primarily to create atmospheric compositions. Mostly known for her ethereal, shimmering vocals with Australian dream-pop band Heligoland, that she co-founded in 1999 (produced by Robin Guthrie). She is now based in Paris, France and composes experimental and ambient solo works based around improvisation, often manipulating her vocals to add layers of emotional depth to her works. She also has a fortnightly radio show on CAMP where she plays 2 hours of new ambient, electronic and experimental music.
Her mix for September is inspired by the shift in the weather from late Summer to early Autumn. Her intention was to create a soundtrack with which to watch the fading light and feel the temperature drop. The mix includes an exclusive unreleased track from the forthcoming Guentner | Spieth album (out on AFFIN in October) along with a selection of new releases ranging from experimental ambient to pop ambient. Some vocal ambient tracks are included with Vogt's own works, remixes of her work and her GALÁN / VOGT collaboration with Spanish composer Pepo Galán.

Founded in December 2010, AudioCompress is an ambient music project by the hungarian artist Gabor Csirmaz. His music combines electronic sounds with acoustic instruments, noises and field recording. Getting inspired by nature and special trips all around the world, Gabor creates audio scenarios and soundscapes full of textures that unveil themselves every time you listen to his mixes. Being well renowned in the ambient scene, AudioCompress performed in festivals such as @ozora-festival as well as relesead his music on labels such as, @exiles-electronics, @free-sequence, @darkheartrecordings, @enoughrec, @attenuation-circuit, @plugandlay, and @radiozora.

Christian Samsara's DJ Set at Boom Festival 2023

On July 26, 2023, under the Portuguese night sky, Christian Samsara performed a spellbinding three-hour set at The Gardens stage of the Boom Festival. Crafting a sonic journey that seamlessly blended Ambient, Downtempo, and Deep Techno genres, his set was characterized by its atmospheric textures, intricate rhythms, and carefully curated track selection.

It was recorded, mastered at the Ultimae studios and can now be played on Soundcloud. Enjoy !

The album is called "Reflections of nothingness" and will be released on Mule Musiq in the end of October. José Soberanes (Tula de Allende,Hidalgo (MX); 1983) An artist inspired in experiences with people, college life, film scores or just listening to random sounds. He has developed a trajectory within experimental and alternative electronic music since 2012, publishing a bunch of albums, ep's and singles on many labels around the globe and performed series of concerts and collaborations with several artists as well . 

Currently mixing digital & analogue, both instruments and resources on his sound works, focusing on minimalism, singularity of field recordings & improvisation; as a main tool. No studies, no academic education, no scholarships, pure learning by doing self-taught appropriations of his creative skills.

He's the current founder and label manager of Nova Fund recordings and partner in crime with Mauricio Sotelo on We Only Share (WOS) label, also they project  called “Particle Assault”.

Alex Bober’s music is a gentle, tender retrospective of an innocent heart. The main themes addressed by the artist are childhood, nature and memories. Soft textures filled with naturalness and uncomplicated melodism are a characteristic feature of his music. Alex is a passionate sound artist exploring the naivety in the world of sound, his composing approach reminds of children's drawings - sincere and beautiful in their imperfections.
Bober began experimenting with sound in 2015, gradually paving his own way and shaping his own style. In 2017, he begins releasing his work under his own name. Alex has released two LPs and is now working on the third one.

DeepWarmth is James Shain who started making music back in 2008 as lilmanjs with Ambient, Downtempo and IDM. Along the way the DeepWarmth alias sprung up for his stuff with Beats including more experimental stuff concering Drone infused beatwork. Now making music as DeepWarmth and James Shain for all Ambient, he strives to showcase his love for Ambient. José’s is an experimental sound artist, recordist and a self-taught composer based in Tula, Hidalgo MX. Working in the field of ambient / minimal noise, and his compositions explores the balance between electronics and random environmental sounds, using acoustic and electronic processed sources and field recordings.

He participated at many spaces, projects and live concerts sorrounded by different artists around the world, such as: Pablo Reche, Juan José Calarco, David Escallón, Alma Laprida, Malcolm Delaney, Israel and Diego Martínez, Mauricio Sotelo (PCCL), Darren McClure, Pepo Galán, Toby Driver, Pavesa, Sarmen Armond among many others. Deep Breakfast 003 - José Soberanes

Darren McClure is a sound artist living in Matsumoto, Japan. His work focuses on texture, space and atmosphere. Sound sources are both analogue and digital, hardware and software, incorporating found sounds and field recordings to lend an organic, tactile quality to the pieces. His main intent is to create sound to both zone out to and zone into, a balance of widescreen drones and more minimal, abstract ambience.

He has released solo and collaborative work on a number of labels, across various formats. His music has also been used in conjunction with video work and documentary shorts.

Luigi Turra (b. 1975) is a minimalist electroacoustic composer living and working in Italy. His main interest is in the aural balance between silence and tactile perception of sound. Trough the manipulation of concrete and acoustic sources, he develops acoustic paths in which listeners experience continuous pauses and subtly abrasive sound tensions. Starting from the capture of small sounds and noises, Luigi Turra creates pieces of music, that are references to beauty of the imperfection and to the beauty of the transitory.
His work is published from labels such as LINE (US), mAtter (JP), Non Visual Objects (AT), and/OAR (US), Silentes (IT), Dragon’s Eye Recordings (US), 901 Editions (IT) and Trente Oiseaux (IT).
