I am one year on SC today 30 Oct 21. So I just though I'd put a quick track together, just a fun one with loads of effects on vocals and guitars, even brought back the trigger gate which I used on a lot of earlier songs. Was fun for me hopefully is for you and always listen to that little devil on your shoulder!!

Hello everyone,   I'm sorry, but I can't send any more follow up because my stock (1997 people) of my subscribed artists has been exceeded!                                                                                           
      I'm a self-taught amateur composer for the past fifteen years  in the genre Rock-Surf, Spanish Rock, Rock film-serial noir, neo classic etc...  my music is simple, and my guitar and bass sets are rather minimalist , recorded at home with a little pocket home studio "Micro BR" Roland, sometimes in collaboration for my last pieces with my son Rémi Carpentier at the synthetiser and logitiel FL studio.
My music has already been selected with Groover more than sixty times in Spotify playlists, or various web radio, blogs and media press articles, or for example obtained 104,600 streams on this platform in 2023.  Thank you for all your listening and comments.

Musicien depuis l’âge de 13 ans, je n’ai jamais cessé d’être amoureux de la musique.

Par la suite, j’ai créé le groupe Top-Sonart qui a été en nomination deux fois à l’Adisq,et qui a pris fin en 1987.
J’ai ensuite écrit plusieurs chansons et musiques qui n’ont jamais joué nulle part. C’est pourquoi je les partage maintenant avec la planète par Soundcloud.

Musician since the age of 13, I have never stopped being passionate about music.
I participated in an international Francophone competition in the 80s.
Subsequently, I created the band Top-Sonart who was nominated two times at l’Adisq and which ended in 1987.
I then wrote several songs and music pieces that never played anywhere. That's why I now share them with the planet through Soundcloud.

Prolific musician, author, photographer and oddity.  With influences ranging from the lofi pop of Guided by Voices, the gothic melodrama of Nick Cave, the glam of Bowie and the nakedness of Iggy Pop - this is Marc Freak.  Former frontman of Freak Circus and Dead Joe.  An experiment in DIY and lofi.  The odd bum note here, the even odder bum note there.  But with art do we care?
