Hi and welcome to the 2nd track from my new project "Then She Reaches For The Gun". Firstly I wanna say BIG BIG thanks to all the people around the world that have sent me files to be part of this ongoing fun… I am currently working on track 3 and all the recent recruits will feature in that.

 “All Roads Lead To the Carpark” was finished before the callout so it’s line up is the same bunch of crazy talent as track One except for Carolyn Wigston stepping down from vocals and the formidable Paolo D’Emilio taking her place with a little rant in Italian and English about speaking in Italian and English : ) Neska Wigston is also having a rest from barking duties : )

The project’s inspiration is two fold: Firstly its a homage to some of the stuff i grew up listening to like Mr. Bungle and other noisy bastards where anything goes, and often in quick fire succession and secondly it” a chance to work with an never ending stream of talented musicians that i have known for years either in real life Australia or via the Internet. Each track will no doubt change depending on who has sent me what.

The process is simple, I collect a bunch of random recordings from people and then see what i can arrange from it. Nothing subtle here, just huge noisy fun : ) I am open to anyone that thinks they might like to be part of this mess. Drop me a message and i will send you my email. The only criteria is that i wont be using samples from TV/film/other music etc, so just original stuff played on instruments, field recordings, stupid drunk conversations etc. Cheers!

I am one year on SC today 30 Oct 21. So I just though I'd put a quick track together, just a fun one with loads of effects on vocals and guitars, even brought back the trigger gate which I used on a lot of earlier songs. This song is about a drifter who roles into ghost town where he sees shadows silhouette of people from a long time ago. He thinks that they are real and experiences an evening of southern hospitality that includes a bottle of bourbon whisky. It's when he wakes up in the morning that he thinks if it was all in his head....Were they just visions he had in that ghost town. The deeper meaning to the song is that we live in a world we think is real, formed by our experiences and influenced by the environment. However, there may come a time when we wake up to the reality as it really is. Life is formed around ghosts and sillouettes who can influence our behaviour. As Marcus Aurelius once words are opinions not facts....or in the modern era....wake up and taste the coffee.

His head rolled back, and he closed his eyes

Well, the mist fell down on the old ghost town
As he closed his eyes and fell asleep

He turned and opened his eyes
Looking through the haze of an empty glass
He saw to his surprise
The bar was empty, not a soul in sight
He raised to his feet then looked down the street
He was on his own felt shivers to his bones
Was it all in his mind? Was it all in his head?
Were they visions he had in that ghost town?
