We’re back for 2025 with a stunning new episode of our live music series, DEPTH. PERCEPTION, delivering one of the most scenic and emotionally charged performances we’ve ever captured. While it may have looked quiet at DEPTH. HQ, we’ve been preparing for our biggest year of Australian underground electronic music yet.

This latest drop — Episode 10 — is a true milestone. To celebrate, we’ve partnered with the iconic Mt Buller alpine resort in Victoria, Australia, to film an exclusive live electronic music performance at the mountain summit.

We’re beyond excited to welcome Michael Stringer to the DEPTH. lineup — a gifted multi-instrumentalist and live electronic artist from Australia. Fusing guitar, bass, saxophone, keyboards, and vocals into dynamic, genre-blurring sets, Stringer brings raw emotion, rich soundscapes, and unmatched stage presence. As he closes the chapter on his former project Quackers, this set marks the evolution into a singular, powerful new artistic identity.

Filmed at over 1,800 meters above sea level, featuring sweeping alpine views and the signature DEPTH. audiovisual experience.

Der Track befasst sich mit der Art von Ängsten und Zuständen 
die nicht lebensbedrohlich sind, sich aber lähmend in unserem 
Kopf festsetzen können. Vom eigenen Umfeld meist miss- 
oder gar nicht verstanden sorgen sie für ein Gefühl der Enge und Einsamkeit. 

Komplexe, psychologische Prozesse die hier eine 
zentrale Rolle spielen sind rein zum 
besseren Verständnis in drei Oberbegriffe unterteilt:

 Konditionierung → Illusion → Bewusstsein


Angst ist kein Feind, sondern ein Echo früherer Prägungen. 
Sie wurde uns „beigebracht“.
Man lernt, was gefährlich sein soll, und übernimmt Verhaltensmuster,
die sich mit der Zeit tief in uns verankern.

Doch Angst verliert ihre Macht, 
wenn man ihr begegnet, statt sie zu meiden.
Wer durch sie hindurchgeht, erkennt:
Sie ist meist nur eine konditionierte Illusion –
ein Schatten, der verschwindet, sobald man sich umdreht.
Dieser Track zeichnet eine Reise vom Erstarren zum Bewusstsein.
Vom Gefühl der Enge zur Rückkehr in den eigenen Atem.

The track deals with the kind of fears and states
that aren't life-threatening, but can become paralyzingly embedded in our minds. Often misunderstood or even completely ignored by those around us, they create a feeling of confinement and loneliness.

Complex psychological processes that play a central role here are divided into three umbrella terms purely for
better understanding:
Conditioning → Illusion → Consciousness

Fear is not an enemy, but an echo of earlier conditioning.

It was "taught" to us.
We learn what is supposed to be dangerous and adopt behavioral patterns
that become deeply ingrained in us over time.

But fear loses its power
when we confront it instead of avoiding it.
Those who walk through it realize:
It is usually just a conditioned illusion –
a shadow that disappears as soon as you turn around.
This track traces a journey from paralysis to consciousness.
From the feeling of tightness to returning to your own breath.

We would like to take you on a trip with the turtle loving Istanbul-based artist Onur Diner. He blends ethnic sounds & instruments  both in his productions and his DJ sets. In 2016 he released his first EP “Owlephant”  on Submarine Vibes followed by something new in 2018.
