The Conne Island in Leipzig celebrated its 30 birthday in 2021 and after the book "I've never seen a swan on the toilet - memories from 30 years of Conne Island, now a reflection of the musical history of this political and cultural center is coming to your turntables. On this benefit-compilation various artists joined forces, not only to represent the different sound facets of the "Eiskeller" but also to financially support the Conne Island during the lockdowns. All proceeds of the compilation will be donated and benefit the various projects and initiatives of the Conne Island. The triple album comes in colored vinyl with a 68-page booklet and poster. Our contribution "Memories" is a collab with @Plastiks and can be seen as a reminiscence to one of the most importend venues for DNB-history in Leipzig, which is Conne Island.

Canadian based Heymac (Co-founder of Umbral Sound System & resident photographer at Helon Photography)is continuing to make his mark on the DnB community. His music focuses heavily on ethereal atmospheres combined with the emotional orchestral elements.  

His debut release "Eye of Light" on RAM Record's ProgRAM imprint was followed by several releases on UK based Bay 6 Recordings and 2021 saw Heymac self-releasing several songs such as “Hamartia” which have gained support among a number of artists in the Drum and Bass community. You can hear a handful of Heymac originals throughout the first half of the mix.

Danky was born and raised in California surrounded by a family full of musicians. In her early years, piano, trumpet, and guitar occupied most of Danky's time before she discovered the magic of combining electronic and acoustic instruments together in the studio. Danky's initial forays into music production found her exploring the nuances of HipHop, Juke, and Future Beats; but it was only when she began to try her hand at Jungle and Drum & Bass that her passion for the craft truly began to blossom.

Now, 7 years later, Danky has carved a place for herself within the thriving underground scene of electronic dance music where she can flex her own her eclectic and undeniable groovy style of DnB that takes slivers and echoes from every other genre of music that has moved her to this point. 

This mix includes some of my favorite new drum and bass tunes and a handful of unreleased tracks from me. Enjoy!

Jack started his musical journey in promotion being a part of pivotal crews and nights both in the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane, his love for the scene only grew more as he began DJing. Koya’s sound started with a heavy focus around the 140 soundscape and has played many a support slot in this space. Koya Dubz then progressed onwards in the scene now co-owner of Safe Events and being an active multi genre DJ in multiple events and crews. No two sets are the same with Koya Dubz as he continues to absorb, grow and push his sound through the dancefloor.
