if you were wondering why, i added in a slide guitar track too because the high attack of every other instrument paired with the large amount of the low attack ocarina needed a middle step.

this symphony is one of my favorite pieces ever. i have spent more time on this than any other arrangement i've done (with the arrangement, recording, etc.) but as a disclaimer, i have never had this much trouble panning and volume maintaining the ocarina due to the amount of individual tracks i needed to simulate a larger wind section (which he originally didn't have, the clarinets were a later revision mozart made, fun fact).

i'm no producing expert, and i didn't wanna try doing too much equalization and other fancy additions on sub-par speakers/monitors. especially since the right monitor died on me mid-post-production so i had to use my old computer speakers.. hahah. 

audio quality is still WAY up because i got a legitimate audio interface with a nice sample rate. it is literally a night and day difference!

i got a new mic less than a week before i finished so i didn't use it yet, but it will be in future arrangements.

aside from overanalyzing production value logistics, i'm thrilled at how this turned out. pretty much exactly how i wanted!

i would recommend listening to a full orchestral (professional) arrangement, my favorites are leonard bernstein's and bruggen's (both on youtube)

 i don't know why i rambled so much on this, i've been working on finishing touches for about 12 hours and i'm in overdrive
