Moscow duet minded, lovers of electronic music, founded in 2005. For a long time hiding behind studio work, the results of which are collected in one live performance. Performances of Advanced Dreams in 2012, includes a semi-improvisational program of a mixture of deep dub and experimental sounds with unexpected twists.

Lucifer’s Waltz

The latest Métron Musik Mixtape is something of an unusual treat. Not much is known or written of UK based artist Ishq, and fittingly his music is as hard to pin down as the artist himself. It’s therefore an honour that he was willing to provide us with this mixtape, a 90 minute exploration of unexplored aural pastures - showcasing old and new music from the mysterious producers wonderfully rich and beautiful discography. Within it Matt Hillier spans the depths of planetary oceans, searches the far reaching vacuums of the cosmos and prods at rarely accessed parts of our own reality.

‘Ishq’ roughly translates as ‘love’ but the word is used in Persian and Arabic literature with a broader definition, a relationship between man and its creator. There’s a sense of the divine and spiritual in the 90 minutes of music here. The Cornwall based producer taps into something seemingly larger and more cinematic than our every day existence. Somewhere out there that we kind of know but rarely visit. 

Turn it up, close your eyes, and explore his world.

Chillits is an annual outdoor ambient music festival that takes place in the fall in the redwoods of Willits, California. I've never attended in person, but the DJs post their lovely musical sets online as MP3s and Torrents. This music keeps me calm all year, or tries anyway. I suggest starting with the sounds of DF Tram, but I'm biased. He's my favorite ambient DJ, spinning transgenre mixes inspired by and drawing from electronica, jazz, avant-garde classical, and the history of computer music.

Supercozi is Nice Cote d'Azur ( France ) based Japanese music producer / DJ. She had been active since the late 90's in the festival & party scene around the globe as a solo act also as behalf of Psychedelic-Trance unit Zen Lemonade. Under Supercozi belt, she produces a wide range of music from Chillout, Electronica to ambient Techno.
