The JNJS duo has had their productions played by top DJs such as Raresh, Arapu, Priku, Enzo Siragussa, Traumer, Nu Zau, who select their tracks for their sets at the best clubs and festivals. The videos on Sunwaves of up to 8 artists playing the same JNJS track are well known.
Releases on labels all over the world, from Dias de Campo Records to Uvar, in vinyl or digital format, usually top the charts.
Jay Nortown and Jacobo Saavedra are regularly on the line-up of Circoloco Ibiza at DC10, as well as other parties and clubs such as Slapfunk, Pacha, Eden, Rhythm Point in Ibiza, regular gigs at Les Enfants (Barcelona), Sophie Festival (Malaga), Friedas Buxe (Zurich), Club der Visionaire (Berlin), Fabric London and other places in Europe.
In 2024 they started working with Mahara Bookings, and recently had their first tour in Australia with performances at S.A.S.H and Carousel, and soon they will travel to America for their next tour.
Confirmed dates at Trotamundo, Sunny Side and Dias de Campo festival, they also perform annually in Marrakech and Zanzibar. Precisely here, in Why?Not is another of the brands for those who are residents and perform in different places.
His label is called Velvet. Only vinyl with music from Silverlining, Triptil, iO Mulen or Alexis Cabrera, also in digital format with artists like Cosenza, Jamahr or Matpri, and a series of events in which they have collaborated with Game Over (One Night Stand), Jazzy or Into The Woods.
We can say that it is difficult to categorize JNJS in a style, since their main characteristic is that they are eclectic with high energy sessions.

His music has been played by great artists from the minimal-house scene, such as Traumer, Nu Zau, Alci, Arapu, Janeret, Vern, Sepp, Tania Vulcano, Mihai Pol, Cally, Chklte, Direkt, 2Vilas, De La Swing, or Silat Beksi in places like Sunwaves, Circoloco, Pyramid, Space Miami, Fabric London, Music On and many more.

While his name might suggest a stage persona, Boss Priester is in fact his real name, a fitting reflection of his authentic and uncompromising approach to music. Preferring to operate behind the scenes, Boss allows his music to speak volumes. Over the past few years, he has been diligently crafting a unique musical identity, producing and curating electronic dance music that seamlessly blends elements of minimal, house, and techno.

With a background rooted in both music and technology, Boss channels his expertise into innovative soundscapes, all while honoring the rich heritage of electronic music. His approach is playful yet deliberate, consciously steering clear of overused musical clichés. This no-nonsense ethos has led to releases on esteemed labels such as Ba Dum Tish, X-Kalay, Dungeon Meat, and Locus. His dynamic performances as both a DJ and live artist have graced renowned festivals like Awakenings and Loveland, as well as iconic venues including 93 Feet East, Bret and Lofi. Simultaneously, he continues to release music independently through his BPDUBS imprint, producing limited-edition cuts in a basement in Rotterdam, where he maintains complete control over both the musical and technical facets of his work.

Boss’s recent releases have garnered support from some of the industry’s most respected artists, including Fumiya Tanaka, Samuel Deep, Enzo Siragusa, Chris Stussy, Voigtmann, Janeret, and Josh Baker, to name a few. With several upcoming projects in the pipeline, he remains committed to pushing boundaries and sharing his distinctive sound with the world.

One of the founders of Zapped Collective and Record Label Papa K’s sound is groove-focused and minimalistic taking influence from across the house and techno spectrum which has featured at respected venues including Renate and Golden Gate in Berlin and some of Australia’s finest brands S.A.S.H and Mantra Collective.
