Petals of Nehan unfolds as a sonic journey where powerful and unpredictable movements of sound intertwine with cultural influences and personal sensibilities. Each track shifts in form at times intense, at others restrained yet quietly imbued with an inner strength evoking petals drifting with intention. Through these evolving textures, the EP explores the power of music to bridge the inner and outer worlds.

In the collaborative track “Forsaken Voices” with xato, a flowing current of sound emerges from the merging of sensibilities, leading to a deeper musical exploration.

The EP also features remixes by Sweden-based duo Quit Life, France-based artist Ytem, and Austria-based Kenji Araki. Their contributions bring distinct perspectives shaped by their diverse cultural backgrounds, expanding the sonic landscape of the release.

W.ANNA.W is a Japan based artist, vocalist, and producer who weaves ambient, experimental, and organic sounds into intimate yet expansive sonic landscapes. Her music transcends genre boundaries, evolving freely with quiet, expressive depth. Through her work, she invites listeners into a reflective, introspective dialogue a space to pause, listen, and feel.

@vinakonda is a polymorphic identity in a Cli-Fi universe that writes a story of an adult living through the spectre of their teenagehood.
They try to open a portal between temporalities and slip through identities to let them coexist and to form hybrid sonic echoes: a distorted souvenir of their own teenage bedroom haunted by the ghosts incarnating their potential future selves.

p0g0 is the result of a spontaneous collision between a lie and a truth. It’s a brief, internal struggle against oneself that begins and ends almost in the same instant.

We are very excited to welcome London-based artist Tooth Rust for her All Centre debut, as she follows up her standout Glut EP on Early Reflex. Her new release delves deeper into the fringes of club experimentation with four warped, overdriven tracks that fuse grime, breaks and twisted techno sounds into raw, unpredictable forms.

Gullet Glue lurches into action with off-kilter kicks to introduce a stuttering, hypnotic groove. Rapid-fire claps exchange with bursts of noise while a woozy, abstract melody weaves through the chaos. In its latter half, the track intensifies, sharpening its percussive edges and dragging a sludgy, DnB-adjacent bassline into the mix.

Rude Mechanicals adopts grime sonics with a pummeling eski-like bassline and frantic shards of MC chatter. The track shifts these sounds into a hard-hitting club track, with pounding kicks and whirring hi-hats, sure to send any dancefloor into a frenzy.

Tecque slows the tempo but keeps the tension high, leaning into splintered dub percussion and cascading breakbeats. Perfectly executed breaks career around the mix as the track builds to a trippy, atmospheric middle section with warped vocals and an earworm melody. The frantic melodics combine with crashing breaks in a flying final third.

The EP closes with Time chits, where a lurching digi-plucked melody and intricate percussion fold into a rubbery, mutated club rhythm. The track switches up in the second half with a twisted bassline warping amongst stuttering kicks and frenzied bursts of melody.

Conceived as part of an A/V show with visual artist Nicolò Cervello, ‘Kitbashing’ marks ABADIR’s third album for SVBKVLT.

A growing number of people spend an extensive amount of time watching, scrolling, liking, commenting on and sharing content, whilst at the same time feeding a constant stream of personal data to social media platforms. Social media can be fun and informative, or draining and dark. Either way, their algorithms are purposefully designed to lock users in a continuous state of scrolling. The more time spent online, the more desires, interests and emotions are fed into the algorithm for consumerist ends and reality is reduced to a timeline of curated aesthetics.

Using audio snippets from reels, suggested posts, and sponsored ads, sound objects are cut, micro-edited and meshed together into a collage. Tension is built gradually before falling into a release. Rhythms keep expanding and contracting, simulating the pace of random scrolling on mobile devices. ‘Kitbashing’ is an attempt to break the algorithm: subverting the dynamics by feeding on the algorithm instead of only feeding it.

In 2013, Different Circles launched with Weightless Volume One, a compilation that helped define a new minimalist aesthetic in electronic music. 

Twelve years later and after a six-year pause, the label returns with its tenth release: Ping Volume One.

Like weightless, ping isn’t a genre. It's an approach to anchoring and propelling sound without relying on the steady pulse of a kick drum.

Instead, a single percussive hit — the ping — holds the centre. Dry and high in the mix, or echoing distantly through space, it becomes a temporal anchor. Around it, the rest of the track can undulate, bend, float or collapse.

The term first appeared on Mumdance’s radio show, where playing “the pingy ones” from the Different Circles back catalogue became a running joke. In the Discord community, it evolved into a shared language, with memes, lore and a mascot known as the Ping Devil.

In 2023, Mumdance aired The “Ping Report” a radio show that gathered everything into a coherent moodboard. It included original tracks made by Discord members for the show and set the foundations. From there, more producers began making ping intentionally, and over time, Ping Volume One took shape.

As the idea came into focus, Logos and Mumdance noticed that much of the Different Circles back catalogue, if not explicitly weightless, could now be understood through the lens of ping. It was a sound they had been drawn to long before they had a language to describe it.

Ping Volume One is a document of shared instinct. A collection of tracks connected by feel rather than formula, shaped by years of dialogue between a community of artists and listeners who were drawn to the same sounds & ideas before they had a name.
