To kick off the new year, we’re adding to the GiraffeStep series with a release by SW England’s Crypticz, and to follow suite with DIFF005, we’re dropping it as an extended player. Four track’s built up over the past year compiled, mixed and mastered into the “Contact EP”.

‘Get Back’ sets the mood off sonically, with some almost dubstep groove thrown in along with Crypticz’s footwork influences. ‘We A Dem’ is the closest this EP gets to the dancefloor with it’s bass driven pulse groove and cheeky acapella chops. The third track is a collaboration, ‘Shift’ with Lakeway (who’s got some music lined up later on this year with the label) ­ shows off a seriously stripped back skeleton with moody bass, vocals and atmospherics. The EP is closed down with a lazy melodic and bassy number called ‘Promise’ (totally late night vibes on this one!).

Batteur dans divers groupes de Hardcore depuis 1995, DJ depuis 2001, Bee Flex est passé à la production en 2005 et enchaine les tracks amateurs. Il s'est notamment distingué lors du battle Contumaz Jungle/Drum&Bass lors duquel il a remporté la première place, se voyant offrir le pressage d'un de ses morceaux sur vinyl.

En 2011 il fait la connaissance de l'équipe aux commandes de Kamikaz Cross Fader, Free Net Label breton sur lequel il a sorti un morceau Dubstep.

Contacté par les producteurs de la web série Armorik Sanguine, sorte de Skins à la mode Bretonne, certaines de ses productions du moment (Dubstep / Bassline) seront utilisées dans le premier épisode, ainsi que sur le générique de la série : http://armorik-sanguine.com

Activiste à ses heures perdues, il officie dans un premier temps sur Bass Music Magazine et réalise quelques interviews. Recruté depuis 2013 par les bloggers fous de Diggyland, il met en avant les sorties les plus fraiches sous forme de podcasts courts : les Diggyland Monthly Sessions.

Vallou is a producer and DJ from France, involved in the underground psychedelic and chillout scene. He explores a wide range of sounds, with his own productions born of a very personal alchemy, in which his emotions and inspirations have infused, and with progressive DJ sets navigating between various styles and textures.

After 2 albums on Mindspring Music and releases on various compilations, his music has been discovered and resonated internationally, sharing universal emotions and stories that awaken memories of our life journeys.

Each piece is a piece of his story told with a powerful gentleness, that allows us to dive deep inside ourselves, to look at and accept our past, to give us the strength to move forward. It's a therapeutic journey that he shares with you from his own universe, to offer you a beautiful moment of love and a profound experience for a little while.
