Liliya Ilieva is a Bulgarian jazz singer, composer and educator.
Lilly was only 3 years old, when she performed for the first time on the stage and never stopped ever since. Her childhood was filled with music and concerts, being part of a children group. She had the great opportunity to sing on one stage with many of the well known local Bulgarian musicians.
With time, the young singer decided that she wants to turn her hobby into a profession.
Her passion for Jazz music appeared in 2005 and in 2008 she won a 2­nd place at the "European Competition For Jazz Vocalists" that took place in Bulgaria. The same year Lilly was honoured with the "Special Award" of the famous Greek jazz singer Vicky Almazidu.
In 2009 Lilly Ilieva decided to move to the Netherlands, so she could dive deeper into Jazz Music.
Accepted in the "Prince Claus Conservatory", the young singer had the wonderful opportunity to gain experience by studying with musicians such as John Clayton, Jd Walter, Alex Sipiagin, David Berkman , Robin Eubanks, Ralph Peterson, Dena DeRose, Joris Teepe, Francien van Tuinen, Freddie Bryant, Gene Jackson,Kurt Weiss and Michael Moore among others.
While in there, vocal teaching and composition became her passion. Lilly formed her own jazz quartet, that performed her compositions and arrangements of jazz standards. After a while her roots drove her into a new direction with the folk/jazz project "Songs Of Aeon", where she is a co­leader. Bulgarian folklore melodies are the main source of inspiration and basis for the jazz oriented arrangements. The singer was asked to join two Big Band formations, which realised concerts in Germany. Other than that she performed regularly in the Netherlands with her projects.
In 2012 she moved to Barcelona, Spain where she explored the local jazz scene.
She gathered a small group of singers and called it "Acapella". Once again the folk influence came along and the singer found herself composing a choir pieces with folk/jazz direction and arranging Bulgarian folklore melodies to be sang Acapella.
After she finalised her studies in the Netherlands in 2013, Lilly is keeping herself busy ­ working on her new projects, which involves both ­ Bulgarian and foreign musicians.

At the frosty beginning of 2011 an independent label Music Clinic Records was established in Sofia, Bulgaria. The vision is clear and simple: to create a media forum that unites talented artists sharing their pure love for music. Style, age, race restrictions don’t count – we seek and support independent artists with distinct individualities. No official programme and elaborate target groups – we identify and promote the gifted performers with a clear message to the inteligent audience. We want to make possible for quality music to be heard and appreciated in Bulgaria and worldwide.

Kees Krabben, a young Amsterdam based saxophonist. Mostly known for his unique alto sound and lyrical improvisations. Music that breathes.

ANDY MIDDLETON is one of the very top-tier saxophonists living in Europe today. Imaginative and adventurous virtuosity spans an incredibly wide breadth of expression -- from fierce power to tender warmth, lyrical yet rhythmically driving, masterful and inspired. His compositions, harmonically modern and melodic yet clearly rooted in the jazz tradition, provide the perfect setting. This unique voice as a player, arranger and composer has led jazz icons such as Ralph Towner, Kenny Wheeler and David Holland to collaborate with him.  He has also performed and recorded with a long list of artists including Billy Hart, Maria Schneider, Richie Beirach, Renee Rosnes, Randy Brecker, Bill Evans, Lionel Hampton, Bob Mintzer, Joey Calderazzo, John Abercrombie, Scott Colley and Adam Nussbaum.

Born in Harrisburg, PA, Andy received his masters degree in composition at the University of Miami.  After nearly 20 years in the New York jazz scene, he relocated to Vienna, Austria in 2006, where he is Professor of Jazz Composition, Jazz Theory and Jazz Saxophone at the Conservatory of the City of Vienna.


The One O'Clock Lab Band is the premiere performing ensemble in Jazz Studies at the University of North Texas. One of the most recognizable and well-known names in all of jazz, The One O'Clock has a storied history that goes all the way back to the founding of the program at UNT by Gene Hall in 1947. With over 60 CDs and 6 Grammy nominations to its credit, The One O'Clock is an ever-growing student composition-based exciting cutting-edge modern jazz ensemble.
