Born and based in Berlin since 2016, Ab Uno is the experimental music project formed by Eugenio Petrarca and Roberto Di Ciaccio that blend together drifting modular oscillations with exotic field-recordings and organic visual progressions to build immersive minimalist atmosphere of ancestral rituals from distant lands. By constantly exploring the relationship between sound, time and space, their music embarks on a backward journey that looks to the origin to settle in the consequence: the actual word ab uno derives precisely from the Latin 'from one'--birth as a rite of fragile essentiality to develop as a complex nature.Ab Uno has released music on labels such as Dornwald Records, Opal Tapes, Rohs!Lontano Series, Mahorka, Modern Bön, Transferans, also curated radio shows and podcasts for Cashmere radio, Syg.ma, Mutant Radio, Vurt, Musica Stampata, Melantónia, and has performed across Europe since 2016.

Nuutti-Iivari Meriläinen aka dcom (@dcommunications) was born immersed into a world of music, starting with classical music studies at an early age and playing multiple instruments as a teen. His interest towards electronic dance music and away from the popular was kindled by a trip to Ibiza at the tender age of 14, kickstarting an obsession to refine an already eclectic taste in music. dcom has been playing a wide variety of electronic music for almost 30 years from his meticulously curated collection ranging from ambient soundscapes to rhythmic industrial noise.
