Delfonic from Berlin, a busy guy that will hit you with his experienced, flawless flow and the skills of a Hip Hop veteran but an open-minded music taste including soulful grooves from new jazz vibes, underground Disco, American House, Breaks and Afro Grooves.

With a history in digging and an unquestionable love for music, Markus Lindner, a.k.a. Delfonic, is one of the most versatile and informed DJ as they come.

He used to be the key character concerning music knowledge in Berlin. After a long decade at  OYE records store he left the business to become a 100% touring DJ and also to do a series of Dance Jazz Edits (Illegal Jazz) which create a massive buzz in the new house and funky dance world (support from Gilles Peterson, Honey Djoon and many others)

Delfonic applies his broad knowledge of music styles to almost any setting, and is renowned for blending multiple genres, eras and disciplines throughout his sets. An open-minded talent, with an uncompromising approach to DJing, he employs a style schooled from an upbringing in hip-hop. Delfonic is the model DJ - he’ll warm the crowd up, get them dancing and then provide the scope and context that will keep the heads on board.

So where did this young man come from? Let’s go back to the 80’s. 1980 to be exact. Living on the Southside of Chicago, growing up in one of the hottest neighborhoods of djs, he came from a family where music was in him. His father being a dj himself and his uncle being a drummer for a hot 70s group, opportunity was at hand. His brother being a “Deep House Head” used to party at the original WAREHOUSE and THE POWERPLANT, used to bring home cassette tapes and let him listen to them. One day he got up the nerve to travel down the street and ask a well known DJ by the name of Steve Hurley can he teach him? Being the person that he is, Steve said yes. Knowing his situation, Brett eventually knew Steve couldn’t give him the attention he wanted to get “ON” so he linked up with another Chicago giant, Eric E.T. Taylor, who took him under his wing and taught him everything he knows about the trade. He eventually got bookings at Sauer’s, Hero's, La Mirage, just to name a few. After a long thought out decision, Brett decided to leave the craft and start a family with his wife and now business partner, Mrs. Nichole P. Myers-Morrison. From this union, they conjured up 3 beautiful life forms. Missing the “LIFE”, Brett decided to come out of “RETIREMENT” and start back but by this time, turntables were almost obsolete. With some help from true friends, he got his chance to get back on the grind and has been back DOING WHAT HE DOES, which included induction into Nu Bang Clan. From various internet shows such as CYBERJAMZ , Chicago House Radio, PUSHFM, and now has his own internet show on http://www.ustream.tv/channel/the-d-vine-1-radio-show  “The D’vine 1 Radio Show” heard on Sundays from 12-5pm cst., he has been heard by the masses. He now holds residency for the past 7 years @ The New Leo’s Den in Chicago on Fridays. He has been at various venues such as Sub-T, Betty’s Blue Star, The Family Den, Reynolds, Club MIX, Visions, The Dating Game, L!V in Detroit, The Smart Bar, Room 43, HERO'S, Norm's Bistro, The SHRINE,Club REV's, The CLUB, Sauer's, Artis's and “The Shop”. London-based DJ, producer, label owner and promoter Ben Gomori has a long and varied career in dance music, stretching from illegal raves in fields in his birthplace Cambridge through residencies at some of London’s most legendary clubs to some of the biggest venues and festivals in the world. He plays an inimitable mix of house, disco, Balearic, electro, afro, acid, garage and techno, tirelessly digging for lesser known gems that he unearths for his RecordReplay bargain bin vinyl radio shows and seamlessly fitting them alongside the sounds of today, sprinkled with his own acclaimed edits and productions and a high-energy mixing style. 

Co-founder of the eclectic Balearic London parties and vinyl edits label, he’s also the founder of the acclaimed Monologues Records, G-Edits and Sterns Edits imprints and has played regularly at Berlin’s hallowed Sisyphos since 2019, and across the world from Womb in Tokyo to fabric in London to Sunday Sunday in Mexico, Glastonbury, We Out Here and beyond. He also runs Pitchblack Playback—a global series of album and DJ mixtape listening sessions in the dark, of which Rick Rubin said “this sounds great” and Jamiroquai’s Jay Kay said was “a fabulous idea”.
