Great mix here from Bukem recorded back in 1997 which was just marked with "Unknown Tape".

** UPDATE - I now found out that this was recorded at Chambers Wine Bar in Worcester , UK.

Never been able to ID where exactly it was recorded although it does sound similar to the sets he was playing down in London at that time (e.g. in places like the GLR nights at the Ministry Of Sound, Shepherds Bush Empire etc).

Anyway enjoy an hours worth of Bukem and Conrad on top form.

Got some new Summer of '94 mixes sat here, but the weather is dire, so I'll go with this one to pass the time until the sun emerges. To give it its full name: Hard Leaders 6 Presents Jungle Dub 2. (Hard Leaders or Hardleaders? The CD says the latter but I'm going with the former). Data B makes his full Codename: RCRDS debut with 'Deep Reflections EP', which provides a stunning showcase of this rising producers talents.

The EP opens with 'Elsewhere', a euphoric collaboration with label co-owner Moakz with spine-tingling pads and soaring leads entwined with rolling breaks and bass for a superb opener. The EP continues with the deep liquid roller 'Wakeup', full of crisp drums and chopped vocals, before moving into the glacial-tinged beauty of 'Change Your Mind'. This echoes the work of masters such as LSB with its introspective vocals, stunning strings and plucked guitars. The release then switches into another direction to close the EP for the crusty breaks and eerie vocals of the rolling 'Broken Window'.
