Founded in 2012, Good For You Records is a multi faceted record label, music e-zine, marketing firm, curation service and events company who's mission is to shine a bright light on quality music, industry news and lifestyle events.

Paper has been pushing all things deep house and disco from the furthest reaches of the world via the good old North of England since the early Nineties.

The label has already featured a new series of EP's showcasing the best new dance music and future funk, house and disco from the world's finest producers.

We kicked off in 1994, leading the upsurge in popularity of UK house music within an underground scene previously dominated by a soundtrack from US cities like Chicago, Detroit and New York. Enhanced by a strong visual identity, as well as impeccable musical quality control PAPER was, and is one of the world’s most treasured record companies.

It continues to be funk-fuelled and bottom heavy!

Rob is a DJ/Producer/Remixer based in Fareham, UK. 

His main musical styles are House (Soulful,Funky,Disco,Latin,Tech)

From a early age, Rob has always had love for Dance music.

He started to produce music at a young age, where he was introduced to MIDI sequencing at College.

As well as DJing around the UK and Europe at great venues such as Ministry of Sound and SE One, Rob is a established producer within the Soulful House scene and has remixes and original recordings on labels such as Swing City, Duffnote, Purple Music, Soulstice Music and many others.

His style is mainly uplifting and soulful, but has been known to branch out into other areas of House and Dance too.

Founder GFM Recordings.n the very childhood Sergey was deep into music, beginning with ROCK, further on his preferences shifted more into JAZZ &amp; FUNK. In the year of 2000 he started dj-ing at the Volgograd 103,1 RadioStation, totally dedicated to electronic music. As an author and editor he started up a show of his own about various influences onto electronic music. That was the time when Sergey got seriously into mixing, later on in 2002 he moved to the city of Moscow and premiered as a dj at the "HEART club". Afterwards Dj Mishakov have gigs at such clubs as Fresh, The Most, Sexton, Jet Set. Between 2003 and 2008 he residenced Zona club Saturdays. In 2004-2005 he got into the Top 100 dj's of Russia according to DJ. RU  top list. From the very opening he's been residencing Megapolis FM broadcasted all over Russia. In 2008 he became an official resident of LM Soundivision tour. Having played thousands of different musicians records he started composing music of his own to develop his dj success story. Only the 1st year of composing and remixing brought him 21 release and contracts with such world wide known record labels as Grouper recordings(Miami, Florida),Ambiosphere(UK),Klam records(Columbia),Toto,Big mama(Ukraine). RecentlyAt the present time together with the tight composing schedule Dj Mishakov is a constant pre-party resident at Simple Pleasure bar,White Rabbit, and suchlike.. Sergey Mishakov is a dj with sophisticated music taste and rich experience. With the equal success he blows up a huge festival auditory with the magical Tech-house rhythms and sounds and makes visitors of a fashionable pre-party bar headnod to the high-grade Deep-house vibes.

Joe Newham, known by his stage name Gavinco, is a British musician, producer and DJ based in Brighton & Hove. He debuted with a Jazz House aesthetic, and has since explored the world for musical influences. His tranquil yet jazzy electronic sound incorporates the use of organic instrumentation and production. 

This Musician has combined all sorts of interesting techniques into the house music industry and created his own vibe of music in its self.  With a musical kaleidoscope of influences – from Japanese Acid House to Afrobeat – there’s something in this already extensive collection of (smooth house tunes) for everyone to enjoy. You will be sent on a journey through rich melodies, merging House rhythms and Jazzy atmospheres.  

Gavinco made his first release under the Record Label Houseum Records, with their first label release HSM001, Various Artists - The Four J's. His second release was also under Houseum Records for his own debut solo EP, "Caravella".

Hey, Gareth here, I'm a graphic designer who start designing for clubs, parties, and labels in the late 90s. Back then, mix CDs were the holy grail of both design and music. I loved them.

But I wasn't the only one, mix cds were the soundtracks of our nights, our days, our afterparties and lives, for everyone. Yet in today's internet age, the art form has been lost (or just changed) to 2-3 hour online mixes and streaming videos, which just don't create the same magic your CD collection did. Just 60 minutes of music and incredible artwork.

The Classic Mix CD Series celebrates these discs, their soundtrack, their box art and your memories. We hope you enjoy it.

Digital creative type, gamer, music lover and occasional DJ. Currently living between Dubai & Seoul after setting sail from Sunderland in 2010. As a young designer, club and music culture was the driving force for his work, producing artwork for local club nights and record labels in the North East of England.
