At last! The full 12:45 John Morales mix of this 1979 underground boogie classic gets the proper vinyl release it has always deserved! Recorded by Greg Carmichael for the L.O.G.G. project on Salsoul, not included but released in a truncated form (11.05) on Moonglow Records in 1982. All those Discogs skankers can now safely crawl back under their stones... 

This release is the first time all twelve minutes and forty-five seconds have been pressed on wax (and in an ultra limited quantity), so don't miss it, Steven!

Having never received a full 1979 retail release in the USA (or any release at all in the UK), the US promo 12" (7:01 mins) of "Shining" by Venus Dodson continues to fetch considerable sums from collectors in 2017. "Shining" was a staple Paradise Garage banger and is surely one of the finest Leroy Burgess penned tracks to come from the peak years of disco. In the interests of restoring historical balance, Kinfine now presents a remastered, limited press, replica 12". Cut with love at 45rpm to ensure a higher audio resolution (than the hard-to-find original). Initial copies include a reproduction press-release card. Remastered from source. No represses. Out now!
