Love IS Love

This has been titled a soundtrack over anything else. Yes it has a backbone and bed of dance music tracks but the entire project that Expediton has become involved more multitrack production and field recordings alongside several dozen sound design elements throughout the entire project. If your looking for a dj set to just dance to, this probably isn't for you. If your looking to melt into a multitude of natural ambiance and environments with some obscure under tones and trippy sound design, this is absolutely for you. Aside from the over two hour set recorded, there are over three dozen field recordings layered upon several dozen sound design elements to take you all on an expedition. Sure, it gets a little silly and probably weird at a moment or two, but I had fun with it!
I started this mix series years back in hopes to take the listener on a journey and I feel like this is pulling you into the mix deeper then it typically would. I really enjoyed working on this and hope you enjoy listening! 
Optimum listening experience would be in either a set of headphones or on some nice monitors. The stereo field gets wide at some points and the placement on some elements shifts around the stereo field.

MattG's journey to the decks began humbly on Seattle's dance floors, where he immersed himself in the city's thriving house music community. As a devoted dancer and eager student, he spent countless nights observing the craft of local DJs while developing an instinctive feel for what resonates with crowds. This grassroots education became the cornerstone of his approach when he eventually stepped behind the booth after retuning in 2017.

With deep gratitude for the mentorship received from Seattle's generous DJ community, MattG has cultivated a distinctive sound that thoughtfully blends house, tech house, deep house, and breaks. His sets reflect not only technical proficiency but an authentic understanding of the dance floor experience, wisdom gained through years of being part of the crowd himself.

His sets are marked by infectious energy and fluid transitions, showcasing his dedication to exploring house music's evolving landscape while honoring the traditions that shaped him.
