http://soundcloud.com/Spinforth started his weekly* Scour for the http://soundcloud.com/Ghettofunk website back in January 2011, assisted by fellow Hong Kong Ping Ponger's Morphosis and Fat Harry. His quest was to seek out the choicest cuts from the freshest, often unheard of, producers ploughing their trade on SoundCloud. The Scour soon blossomed into a bit of a phenomenon, unearthing some of the finest producers to not yet have their tracks out in the DJ scene!

With incredible numbers of people checking out the weekly* posts, it seemed a logical next step to set up a brand new digital label, showcasing, and officially releasing, the creamiest of the crop of The Scour. Boom! http://soundcloud.com/scourrecords was born!

Expect all Scour traditions to be upheld throughout the initial releases; selection process, BPM order, making up of new words, a touch of nepotism from time to time, it's all here. The first first release is an eight tracker - It was only mean't to be five - see what we mean about upholding all Scour traditions :)

Extra Medium is a Bristol born producer that has been taking on the influences of the city’s underground music scene and fusing it with Jazz music. 

His love for Jazz and obscure sampling has led him to fuse the rolling sounds of drum and bass and the big shuffling energy of UK Garage. Creating a unique and big take on bass driven dance music. 


His take on dance music has led him to create his own record label Thick Boy Records. A record label dedicated to the sounds of UK Garage, House and Drum and bass whilst keeping thick, fresh and funky.

Lover of anything with a break and heavy dubs, subs and wubs.
Known for emotionally charged yet energetic sets, Tzusi’s selections explore deep DnB while mixing in classic throwbacks and playful fun, usually with a wobbly surprise here and there.

Nexus is a sonic architect crafting immersive journeys through a kaleidoscope of electronic soundscapes. Rooted in glitchy bass and DnB, their sets traverse a spectrum of genres—including halftime, dubstep, glitch hop, and experimental—each woven into a cohesive narrative that captivates both the mind and body.

Whether it’s the euphoric lift of emotional, melody-driven textures or the mechanical grind of cybernetic basslines, Nexus’s sets pulse with restless energy and deep intention. Expect shifting rhythms, echoing voices, radiant bursts of colour, and dark undercurrents that wrap around your senses like smoke and starlight.

After winning 1st place at Forbidden Forest’s Too Many DJs competition in 2025, Nexus has continued to expand and refine their sound—curating sets that move with the unpredictability of thought and the precision of instinct. For Nexus, every performance is an invitation into a world that defies genre but speaks directly to something primal.
