London-based sound artist and DJ Jin Synth returns with a captivating new EP on On Board Music, featuring six tracks that pushes the boundaries of experimental, deep, and hypnotic techno. Among these immersive compositions, a standout collaboration with Giuseppe Tillieci aka Neel further enhances the EP's rich, textured soundscapes. Jin Synth's latest work showcases her signature blend of diverse ambient elements and innovative, hypnotic layers.

Titled "Enigmatica," the EP delves into a percussive and ambient realm, exuding a sense of mystery and the untamed spirit of the jungle. Each track intricately weaves together complex rhythms and atmospheric textures, inviting listeners into a world where every beat and resonance reveals a new layer of intrigue. Alpenglühen’s ninth release, Guldstund EP, brings together Ben Kaczor and Martinou under their collaborative alias, Tarik Hensen, for a project that balances deep grooves with a contemplative edge. Named for the fleeting Alpine glow that graces mountain peaks at dawn and dusk, Alpenglühen evokes a sense of transient beauty mirrored in this EP. Each of its four tracks is crafted with an understated yet profound minimalism that resonates across time and mood, making it ideal for the after-hours haze or the quieter moments of a night. Tarik Hensen’s sound here is restrained and expansive, capturing a complex emotional range.

Our premiere for today, “Tjäle,” encapsulates this concept through its reference to the Scandinavian ground frost that clings to the earth in the early morning light. Like the rare alpenglow, “Tjäle” has an ephemeral quality - it sits in the memory, gently cooling yet vivid, lingering as subtle layers unfold. The track’s steady rhythm and textured atmosphere mirror that frosty stillness, a restrained force as delicate as deeply rooted. In this way, “Tjäle” captures the spirit of both natural phenomena, blending the quiet persistence of ground frost with the radiant, fleeting warmth of Alpenglühen itself.

The Guldstund EP will be released on November 18 and will be available on 12” vinyl via Alpenglühen’s Bandcamp and other favorite record stores. Alpenglühen has carved out a niche for refined, introspective club music, and this EP perfectly captures that ethos.

PREMIERE: Tarik Hensen - Tjäle [Alpenglühen]

Looks like it was yesterday, but we are now celebrating 100 releases at the Warm Up headquarters, and who better to put the celebration at the proper level than the label boss and curator Oscar Mulero. In a solid career spanning across more than 30 years, Oscar Mulero has developed his own signature in the global techno scene. These 22 songs are the culmination of a personal sonic journey and makes the seventh full album in his discography. Across this extended tracklist Oscar explores the most scientific side of techno, where abstraction and alien sounds collide with precise rhythms and ultra mental arrangements, diving deep into sound design and studio mixing techniques. On this voyage, the machine starts slowly, almost beatless on the first cut Aquí y ahora, slowly growing in intensity and groove on Percepción y conciencia and En un círculo vicioso. The fourth track Diálogo con la realidad pushes the BPM rate and goes into danceable areas yet preserving the bleepy pulses and precise drum programming. The tension stops in the middle of the tracklists with Laberinto, resetting the spacecraft before going again into hyperspace for three more upbeat songs. On a journey under your skin things go mental again introducing the listener into some ethereal atmosphere before the last quarter of this extensive alien opera. This album is a reflection of a timeless approach to techno, to the roots of this sound that was meant to represent futurism and undiscovered sound territories through minimalism and electronic funk. To give a written description of every piece included here would not give justice to the sounds encapsulated inside, we give you, the listener, the freedom to experience it in your own way, listening to this composition in its integrity as an abstract film soundtrack, to escape from current state of things and enhance your mind and body into another level of perception. Viaje interior will be brought to you in a limited edition four vinyl pack and also in digital format in the label’s bandcamp.

For our twentieth instalment we've invited AMARES, a Tbilisi -based artist. 

Infused with a deep passion for music, she draws inspiration from a diverse array of influences, weaving together elements of hypnotic, psychedelic, tribal, and trance genres to shape her unique identity.

Her sets serve as a medium for storytelling, crafting emotional narratives that guide through transformative and experimental realms - it becomes an exploration of emotions and an invitation to experience the unknown.

Some words about the mix ‘Wings of Light’:
“The mix is a flight through rhythms that lift the spirit, like wind dancing through open skies and sunlight kissing the earth. It carries your mind on a breeze of lightness, through realms where joy has no gravity and freedom has no end. It celebrates the soul’s liberation, Filling the air with light and endless possibility. And in this journey sound becomes wings, making soul fly, untethered and free.”
