Daniel Koch is an Australian born, Melbourne based Trance & Progressive DJ whose fun loving attitude and skills behind the decks are becoming vastly known worldwide.

Exploding onto the scene in late 2009, Daniel quickly made his mark. Appearing on line-ups with Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Markus Schulz, Dash Berlin and many more. 

Since then, Daniel has accumulated many achievements including: headlining several international events overseas, gaining residency at Melbourne's #1 Trance Club - Majik Saturday's (voted best club night 3 years in a row) and performing at Australia's biggest music festivals such as Stereosonic, Creamfields and Summadayze.

He has had the privilege of warming up for Trance giants like Cosmic Gate, Markus Schulz and W&W just to name a few and had the honour in opening the concert for one the greatest DJ's on the planet, the legendary Paul Oakenfold. 

But his greatest highlight was performing at a sold out show with over 7,500 people for his favourite Trance act and long time idols, Above & Beyond. 

With his unique style and technical ability, Daniel captivates audiences. His energetic and enthusiastic stage presence generates an emotional connection between crowd and DJ that is like no other. Giving his shows a special edge that makes for an unforgettable experience.

The story started not so many years ago in 2008 with Tiesto picking up on Sander van Dien's emerging production talent of the back of such smash hits as 'Falling'. Taking the name First State and signing to Black Hole Music, Sander has never looked back and two artist albums later he continues to provide massive smash hits that rock dancefloors the world over. Whether its his eagerly awaited tracks with Sarah Howells such as Reverie, Skies on Fire or the hugely popular mashups coined affectionately as 'Bashups' that rock the likes of Armin van Buuren or Afrojack's sets; Sander is a consistent producer of massive dance floor pleasing anthems.
