Boomtown is the Bass music project of Laughlin Meagher. Through his work as a live musician & touring artist, electronic music has always been a passionate mode of expression for this dynamic performer. With 30 years on stage & 17 years behind the decks, Boomtown is known for dancefloor oriented music. Laughlin spent 2013 Touring North America with Kytami performing live DJ/Multi Instrumental sets at over 14 festivals, 7 US States, 5 Provinces and countless clubs and venues. Laughlin often tours in the summer as a multi-instrumentalist with GANGA GIRI.
Crossing many genres, Laughlin has shared the stage Many local & international acts including Adham Shaikh, David Starfire, Chris Hatfield, Walk off the Earth, Gaudi, Liquid Stranger, Delhi to Dublin, LTJ Bookum, DJ SS, Kytami, Trevor Moontribe, Andrew Interchill, Random Rab, Emancipator, JFB, DJ Nils and many more.

Boomtown is available for DJ sets, or as a Live Musician for studio or Tour work and also moonlights as a sound tech and Stage manager. 
Laughlin is currently producing electronic Fusion music with his new band Tripp the System.

A rōnin who’s traded swords for turntables, Ian’s been a veteran of the U.K. music scene since 1989. From Spain to Holland, from Hawaii and beyond, Ian’s sought-after skills have landed him gigs in cities around the world. And now as a resident of Victoria, B.C., Ian brings his hard-hitting beats to venues across Canada. One simple rule guides him and the party-goers in attendance: if you come out soaking wet, then you know you had a good night.
Music has always been in Ian’s blood. A classic rock father and a pianist mother ignited the flame that he carries with him today, a pedigree that his daughters now share. For more than 20 years, Ian has been revitalizing dance floors.  Along with his own label (Keep Warm Recordings) and shows around the world, his decisive passion for the industry shows no sign of slowing down. What keeps him invigorated is that rapport with the crowd. Whether a state-of-the-art venue or a 300-person room, everything hinges on that connection.

KODEX is the title of the new project created by the two artists from Italy, Donatello D’Attoma and Massimo Bonuccelli. KODEX is not a simple improvised music concert, but a live performance in which the art comes from a two - dimensional reality to create real sound and visual. Two sound sources, acoustic and electronics that are transformed into visual impulses. Our first studio recording collects seven tracks realized with an accurate sound concept.
