Oscar Mulero returns to Token. Titan follows up 2018's Electric Shades EP and marks the Spaniard's fourth appearance on the label. A brace of uptempo, dance-floor focused tracks in the artist's inimitable style, the EP showcases the veteran producer's knack for memorable sonic motifs and enviable studio prowess.

As ever, the music feels fresh and modern. Driving, polyrhythmic recording Carnage sets the tone for the record-high energy and off-kilter, it's a dense workout that feels as focused as it does powerfully untethered. Hypnotic follow up Spirit Train channels the best of the heads-down end of the genre with a single delayed synth that warps across its runtime, buoyed by exquisite drum programming and bound neatly by the artist's precision engineering. Title track Titan heads up the B1 and the EP shows no sign of slowing. High energy from the start, Mulero delivers an exemplary slice of peak-time acid-Techno that finds extraordinary energy in its crisp main riff. Elektra closes out the EP and focuses heavily on groove. A single reverberating lead synth sequence does the bulk of the movement, moving in and out of the sonic periphery to build and release tension, all the while propped up by the chunky, driving drums that have powered the record throughout.

Next up in our Record Club guest mix series is Wyndham Earl. A friend of Bongo and a much admired music producer, vinyl-fanatic, Time Spun Records head and proprietor of King Records in St.Leonards-on-Sea. Through his Time Spun Records imprint, he has produced and released a solo instrumental LP and 2 albums by Psych Rock group Rokurokubi; and in the past written music for Khruangbin. We are big fans of his 'Epoch' album, so much so we placed it ninth in our favourite albums of 2020. It's a psychedelic trip through dusty downbeats and cosmic compositions drawing on jazz, folk, hip hop beats, prog, library music vibes, and more. A fantastic album throughout and essential stuff!!! - Born on 15th of June 1982, in Brasov (Kronstadt), the centre part of Transilvania, Romania. He studied in university of survying engineering, which is now his profession. 
- In 2001 he started to organize a series parties, with his friend, Dariotto, called Freaks Reunion Sessions. 
- In 2003 he decided to create his own team for making promotional techno events under the name The DJs Techno Conference (DTC), which was basically driven by his best friend, DJ Bela. 
- In 2005, he signed to the label Skills Records where already are the best five members, djs and producers, from the techno scene of Romania Horace Dan D, Minimus, Filipash, Mihai Popoviciu and Darius. 
- In 2006 start new concept of events, called "Fire In The Hole!" after "ElectrOPEN Funk" series started in 2003, events where he invite important djs/producers like DJ Rush (USA), Mark Williams (UK) or Bryan Cox (USA). 
- In 2007 start hig biggest movement, "maraton" by 3 days and 3 nights, where the musica, arts, extreme sports and nature, called "Romanian Electronic Festival", where played artists like Cristian Varela, Luke Slater, Dave Angel, Octave One, Danilo Vigorito, Trevor Rockcliffe, Space Djz, Paul Mac, Lucca, Dj Zinc, Spor, The Rogue Element, Bando, Paul Langley, and others. 
- In 2008, after he sign few tunes at label Skills Records, now he comes with other concept, this time at labels from USA, Italy or Austria, labels like *Cutz, Total Wipes, Petrol Dolar, and others. 
- His influences are based on his favourite djs, of techno, start from early of '80s, with much detroit techno and chicago funk, a lot of ghetto and tribal rhythyms up to hardgroove. 
"Very groovy principles of dance, techno is his way to reflect his mind."

We've reached the 10th installment on Indigo aera's AEX series. A collection of hand-stamped white labels raised from friendship and family, a collection of like-minded artists having fun in their shared studio spaces in Amsterdam and around.

On the 10th disc it's another collection of familiar faces. ESHU's Tetelepta is up first with his dusty deep-house floater followed by De Lichting affiliate Human Space Machine jamming his way through melancholic melodies. Nathan Surreal makes his debut on AEX, with recent outings on Analogue Solutions and Biologic Recordings he here brings his bright and powerful grooves to a place that feels like home right in the middle of his De Lichting friends. On the b-side Kaap shows his love for traditional dub-techno once more with a stretched out and carefully crafted dub excursion. A wonky beat trip by Denote wraps things up on this versatile and sparkling slab of vinyl.
